Bhai, I bought Oppo Reno 8 pro but they genuine problem with proximity sensor and this most common issue with Oppo phones overall. Lot of issues while calling as it gets muted automatically as proximity sensor didn't work properly. People planning to buy should avoid such phones.
I personally believe the first series Oppo Reno 10x Zoom is still the best till now. That was a complete flagship. I don’t know why Oppo downgraded the phone since then.
Because people dont buy oppo flagships. If they have the budgets they go for Iphones and Galaxy series. That is why Chinese manufacturers focus mostly on mid range smartphones since their market is mostly that. Its not very complicated. They make what people buy not just for the sake of it.
