@@chrisvda7277 If you run with smallish, light wheels its probably ok, might get a bit hot with large diameter, heavy wheels. Depends on ambient temps too, I run smaller pinions for the middle of summer when its super hot. Good high speed fans for both the esc and the motor will help if it does get hot. Low mah batteries can get pretty hot too if you run them hard. One of my batteries is a 3500mah 30c and when I use that the motor and esc get way hotter than with my 4300 or 5000 mah 50c+ batteries.
@shralpRC 6200mah 60c batt I just got should be fine then hopefully. Got some Louise Rc ST Pioneers mft 121.9 diameter coming end of January aswell. Il just have to keep eye on temps. I'm in UK so just il drop pinion down in summer if temps get high. Thanks for the advice much appreciated. You ever do any speed runs with the different pinons. Not a single video on TH-cam with an MT10 with this combo showing the top speed with different pinions. My plan was to have the MT10 handling with the speed of the Granite or Vorteks.
@@chrisvda7277 thanks! Yeah that should be good. That’s a good idea too, I actually have a few different sizes of pinions kicking around, would be a good video. Stay tuned! Haha
I thought someone's truck would end up in the water. I am just surprised it didn't happen sooner. You had some great back flips and big air.
Haha yep it finally happened… Fun day though, thanks!
Oh and the truck was fine after, just had to get the seaweed out and let it dry 😆
What pinion on the max10 mt10.
12t in this video, 13t usually.
@@shralpRC Just installed 3660 3200kv sensorless combo with 15T pinion. Heatsink and single fan. Do you reckon that OK. 🤔
