Hi Larry. Missed this video when you first posted. You've made great progress on the model railroad. I think the concrete looks just fine. Better than mine. ;-)
I bought a set of Badger paints that included a bottle called concrete gray. To me it was the perfect concrete gray of all the concrete paints I've come across. I ended up needing more and to my surprise none of the other bottles of Badger concrete gray looked even close. I thought maybe a label got mixed up and I was using a different gray, but when I sent the bottle to Badger, they couldn't match it with any of their paints. However they did end up finding an unlabeled bottle of paint in a storage room that just happened to match my color and sent it to me for free. The people at Badger were as confused as I was.
Nice progress, Larry. Control panels look great. Lots of people use Tamiya XF55 tan to simulate older concrete. Yours looks good, maybe just dry brush in a few areas to see what you think. Thanks for the update. I need one of those ‘No Swearing’ signs at times, but I’ve done better since ridding myself of a couple of engines! Have a great week, already looking forward to your next update!
