Not only there are thousands of them, they are also pretty delicate to move. Great job to everyone involved.

I hope the wild birds know the locations of the new park. They often go to the park for food too

Bird park is just another successful project by belated Mr Goh Keng Swee, so are the popular zoo and botanical park. Mr Goh established National Park Board to make Singapore a garden city.
He created SAF to make Singapore defense strongest in Asean, JTC industrial park to create good jobs, HDB to build great public houses, CPF to provide housing loan free from banks ripoff, MAS to make Singapore 3rd largest financial center, Temasek & GIC to take care of reserve investments, SIA and Changi airport to make Singapore proud, URA to do city planning, PSA to make Singapore busiest ports, world best POSB banks, etc.
He had foresight to help Singapore established special closed relationship with China as economy advisor to Deng Xiaoping since 1980's. China has now contributed to Singapore 25% trade, more than US, Japan, India and Australia QUAD evil axis combined.
Singapore owed this great man for all its development.

It looks like a very hot place with greenery not as mature like the old Jurong Bird Park. Seemingly the waterfall looks quite similar to the old one. Wonder why the designer didn't take advantage to improve on it. A bit disappointed with what I see in this video. Lacks OOmph factor except its size !

birds can be seen because the forests are maintained, bird habitats in Papua are being threatened because traditional forests are being destroyed, what you are doing is forcing birds to entertain humans, many aspects and principles of sustainability are being threatened, this includes exploitation
