Well ... answering your 3 questions - in my humble opinion
1. Pepita is indeed an opera singer - but maybe still considered as newcomer in music industry. Actually, another opera singer who is "more senior" than Pepita is Isyana Sarasvati who also did music combination between opera/classic with modern genre - hard rock music - I think you probably want to react this too "Il Sogno by Isyana feat Deadsquad" 😁👍
2. Weird Genius is basically a group of musicians (three ppl) who love to kind of mix-match many different music - specifically with edm. If Catalyst is a mix between edm and opera, Lathi is a mix of edm and traditional Indonesian instrument. I like Catalyst more than Lathi, tbh, bc Catalyst sounds so dramatic and grande - one of my most fav video
3. Well the story of the video was basically about love, power and betrayal ... one King was lulled by his throne, unaware of traitor near him, then he got killed bc of the 7 deadly sins in human. The king then resurrected to fight against the evil spirit that lies in human - the little people vs men in white shirt represent strugle between good and bad
Some say the song is about "Christianity" but some also say it's just a "reguler" song about conflict of love and power. Weird Genius themself didn't say anything more than what they wrote on the description box 😁🙏
