Those speeds, whilst not doubting the technology, are dependent not just on that piece of equipment but your plan with whichever internet-provider you are with and how good signal is in the first place. If you have limited speeds and signal, then you would presumably have to attach antennas. What I would like to know is, instead of being able to attach small antennas to the device, whether you can attach outdoor antennas because if able to do that then there should be some increased speeds.
That is a valid question. In our region, signal is weak. I have tried several external devices, mikrotik directional 4G router was "best" , still horrible. Stupid thing is that a honor V70 mobile phone is capable of "acceptable" speeds.. and all the routers fail. 5G has superior mimo antenna that greatly benefit your 4G speeds. Even 8 km remote area, so substandard antennas and long distance. After long research I'm going to replace my current router with the NX510V. While it can use external antenna, my experience so far is that even with high quality mimo antenna, speed hardly improve. Probably if there is a good antenna grid, high quality, you will benefit. My experience even with $100 on quality external equipment... Hardly any improvement. Usually worse. If there is no signal, sure! It won't improve your speeds.
But hardware is very important. There are some 5G routers that are just terrible. You can have the best provider with the best 5G coverage and still get only 20 mbps if the hardware is terrible
@@andrajo2983 Suere. I tried Acer Connect D5 and Xiaomi 5G CPE Pro. Both only reached between 20 and 50 mbps, however i have a great 5G signal and I am using the best provider in the country.
I have question can you select lte band manual with 5g ? Becouse i have the same router but when i turn off auto select band it failed to show any band manual
Not sure. I know it comes with an app. and so you could find details about that. It's the equivalent of signing into one's modem when you're with an ISP. It has some security with it. It has QoS. It doesn't come with voLTE if that's important to you. It has PoE, but which would require an extra VOIP subscription to related companies.
@@The9foor yes it has good Wifi coverage, but i had faced some disconnections while gaming due to network interferences in my area, so i bought Huwaei Zowee H158-382, its a bit expensive, one of the best out there right now and I'm getting like 1 GBPS UL / 120 mbps UL speed
Does this thing have a sim slot? I haven't seen it on any pictures and it claims to do so on its amazon page.
Good speed bet I won't get that, anything over 200 be great though.
