We’re long time fans and supporters of the The Robertson’s and their Unashamed support of God and Country. Like you we were cradle Catholics and experienced the same “dumbed downed Catholicism” instruction via a well intentioned but poorly conducted Vatican 2 evangelism roll out. But the love of Christ prevails and we’re Blessed to continue our Scripture studies, learning the true Faith of the Apostles and the Church Fathers and the resulting Gospels and Traditions. I am so sorry that somehow Church, parochial schools or family failed to impart the truth of the Gospels to you all those years. God Bless you and yours as you find your way back home to know and love Christ as He always intended. And as I’m sure your dear Granny and parents always intended. It hurt to hear you say you were “…Catholic…not Christian.” In time and with the fullness of your Faith you’ll come to know we are of the very same cloth my friend. Thanks be to our great God✝️.
