I kinda understand the emphasis on more super cars because it’s fictional Los Angeles and higher end areas have more higher end vehicles, but that would also mean adding more average cars to balance it out everywhere else. Like I could see more mid 90’s-mid 00’s cars driving around everywhere below and to the right of Pillbox Hill, around Alamo Sea, and Paleto Bay. It would also open up the possibility of beater variants of past luxury vehicles that could spawn in those areas.
The fact that rockstar included the esperanto as a police car in gta V, for a mission that takes place in that past, tells me that the death of the esperanto is canon in this universe like how the crown victoria in real life is no longer produced, I wonder if in gta VI it will appear like a colector car or something xddd
Perennial should've returned as a 2012/2013 Honday Odyssey look-alike in GTA 5 (or GTAIV variant's HQ version). Also, Pinnacle is another car that should've made it into GTA 5 alongside every '90s and 2000's cars from GTA IV (such as Hakumai, DF8-90 and Chavos).

Believe it or not, the Rebla is actually meant to resemble a BMW X5. It was Evovlved as the Rebla GTS in GTAO. The Benefactor Surrano (Serrano? idk) is the ML class Benz, and It was a DLC car in TBOGT, and later appeared in GTA V.

Is it just me or does the SA Uranus model look more newer than the IV Uranus model in terms of car design? The SA Uranus looks more futuristic to me. Also I find it odd how many unique cars were made for LCS and VCS (both being PSP exclusive prequels to III and VC) that never appeared in any future games.

The V8 Ghost came back as the Ocelot Ardent in the GTA Online gunrunning update. oh and we are getting the Uranus back in the current update at a later date. More based on the Ford Sierra than the Foxbody Mustang (tbf the GTAIV Uranus was more of a boxy Sierra anyway) like the GTA IV one.

I think SA's Nebula it's meant to actually resemble the Volvo 900 series, rather than Lincoln Continental. So Nebula Turbo generally also being based on a Volvo makes sense.

The Baller 1st generation model resembles a Range Rover of some sort and the 2nd generation model resembles the Range Rover Evoque. The GTA IV Cabby(the mini van taxi) The first generation Schafter, the 2nd generation one that was in The Ballad Of Gay Tony was in GTA V, the convertible variant of the Feltzer, a successor for the hard top was in GTA V.

There is also a wreck of the 2 door Rancher which wasn't added into V, only the 4 door version
