The next installment of the MFA saga. Merlow's hunt continues, but others try stop him from reaching his goals. His robotic body is damaged from the previous fight.

Analyzation Report: Merlow.
Merlow is a possessed gizoid of similar model to Emerl from the Advance games, and as such is noted to have little sense of self preservation, likely seeing his body as expendable and easily replaced. Due to being a wisp-like entity, Merlow has power over all lesser wisps, and can either summon them directly or simply use the power of a given wisp in a more personal fashion. For example, he can summon a Drill wisp to attack an enemy, or he can embody the wisp to create a chaos-filled vortex kick. He has the ability to use Fatal Counter, where blocking at the exact moment an enemy attacks renders him able to ignore the blow and immediately launch a stunning counterattack. His use of the Void wisp is the most curious, as he seems to be able to summon parts of a much larger machine; possibly another possessed robot that he is connected to even while piloting the Gizoid. His true form has yet to be seen in combat, and it is unknown whether or not he can be harmed in that state. To finish off his opponents, he employs a “RAWKET LAWNCHER” which is a melee slam attack that creates a massive explosion at site of impact, harming him in the process. It is unknown whether or not he can access a super form, or whether collecting the chaos emeralds is simply for some other, grander scheme. Merlow is shown to be something of a Savant; outside of combat, his personality does not portray him as very intelligent or sane enough to concoct a solid plan, but in combat he is capable of not only making quick decisions and adaptations on the spot, but also of creating new wisp attacks through combination on the fly, such as the Refractor Beam used on Zoe in the opening of the animation and the Megaton Bomb used to eject his foes out the side of the building.

If I'm being honest, these were my childhood. Just softie battles alone always had me on the edge of my seat. Always wanting to see more and expand on the mystery. I'm glad to just see these again. ❤😁👍

Interesting that a lot of Merlow's attacks are strong enough that he damages themself with them. I feel like that may be his weakness, but outlasting him long enough for it to matter would be hard.

I swear, this just gets better and better. Just when I think there's no way you could top the last one, you just...do. I like the fact that Merlow is at least shown to not be COMPLETELY invincible, but still crazy awesome, even though he seems to be on a time limit with what he's got left...
Please never stop doing stuff like this, its an absolute blast to watch, and I think everyone appreciates all the obvious work you put into it.
Yeah, despite his combat prowess, Merlow's been getting beat up on over all this time and it's taking it's toll on him, regardless of how much he shows it.

Obviously you can't make your sprite characters completely invincible, but Aege and Merlow come pretty close. I've been watching your stuff for a few years, and I'm quite impressed with your improvement. Keep it up, but don't push yourself.

Alright, this is what I gathered from what Merlow is:
He's down right insane. (This much is obvious[Insert Captain Obvious pun here])
He literally is a killing machine, not caring on who or what will get in his way.
He possibly doesn't know who he even is, due to the multiple voice impersonations.
He's actually being CONTROLLED by someone of a clear high priority, that may or may not know of his origins.
He's just down right powerful, being able to control multiple wisps at once, can summon a RAWKET LAWNCHER to cause massive chaos, and he has THE POWER OF THE LIGHT! And, depending on how he uses his weaponry, can be an unstoppable force.
He's Merlow.....that's about it...SO YEAH! That's what I think Merlow is in a nutshell. Awesome vid DS! Keep up the good work! :D
Yeah so basically the health bar is really how much time that physical form he keeps can stay there before destroying or going back from the universe and hurting him speeds it up.
Also merlow is slowly regenerating

Also forgot he is quite suicidal the most damaging hit he took where from himself and i thinks more him just not getting out of the blast range over the move draining him
And he teleports at the cost of some energy

DestructionSeries I hope you don't kill merlow off, he's become one of my most favorite villians. I like him more then the joker, Vass, and Deadpool put together, heck he you even made me not pay attention to Xemnas and these are all may favorite villians Merlow became my number one. I usually hate robot villians, but man you changed my whole perspective on this guy. So was he weakened from the last battle with that white hedgehog with the dark eyes in 1.5 or was it just the damage all together.
I always thought Merlow was his own mastermind and nobody controlled him, especially when you said he's not a robot at all, there was something more about him which we actually see. Is the new hedgehog the one in control the whole time.
Man I have so many questions, and I don't go fanboy about anything. But man I try to keep it ganster but this whole series in on a completely different level. It's better then goku vs evil goku, It's better then maplekombat, it's better then sonic games online, it's better then all the major sprites, simply because of the originality and personality that merlow have. I always liked that laughing maniac, untouchable type of guy. It seems like Merlow has everybody on the run. Not to many people can stop him.
It's basically taking a army of supersoilder's to take him down and he's actually whooping there ass everytime. Hands down, by himself. Merlow is the most epic character there is.
