Adam said to Steve Burton and Bradford on their TH-cam channel, Ace (Joey Clay) reaching out to him was unplanned. They jumped to the "may I hold him" bit and improvised about his ears and nose.
"You were my whole world" is what got me. That got me thinking Spencer has been hurting for so many years, yearning for his dad's love. He acted up with Dex and others because he was in pain and thought his dad didn't love him. Spencer put all of his love into Ace and didn't realize that he was hurting Trina by neglecting her. He listened to his father without going off (this is major growth). Those few moments the two of them had were (major growth) for them. When Spencer was holding Ace and Nicholas was touching him, Ace sensed that his dad and big brother had made up, he saw the love (that was major powerful love growth). Excellent acting by all three actors.
Spencer, You tear it up. Your performance is always on point. Whoever is acting with you, their performance is on another level of greatness too. NAC, young man's destiny is already planned out for you in every moment. NAC, you got this Bravo, and God has blessed you with great talent 🙏.
Adam Huss is the new Nicholas (though he's technically been playing him for over a year...haha) But yeah, he can really bring it in the emotional scenes!
That was beautiful when Ace reached for Nickolas, it's as if he knew this was his dad, he got comfortable by laying his head on his dad's chest, I only saw Ace do that with Spencer, if you notice you can tell the difference in the two babies playing Ace, the baby today doesn't take to Spencer like his twin brother, the other baby is very friendly with everyone, but today 's Ace doesn't warm up to people so easily, but both of them are so sweet. 🌹

Ace is acting the hell out of these scenes! He should have been nominated for his performance on the Haunted Star. Even though he is a baby he is very present and has the perfect reaction or facial expression every time! He has a lot of potential 🌟
And this is where NIcholas always gets me, he does some horrendous things, but then he comes back and shows such emotion and humanity. He tip toes in the "gray" area but when he's good, he's really good and it makes me as a viewer want to "give him a second chance" to prove he's worthy. I'm glad to see him and Spencer has this convo. Spencer has shown so much growth.
Just this scene got me. Spencer and his dad Nicholas bonding again. I was crying too. That Nicholas Chevez is an amazing actor. We need more scenes like this.
Good on Nikolas for realizing he needed to change his language towards Spencer from “loved” to “love.” Everyone wants to hear their parent loved them in the past (when they were bratty youth) and loves who they are now. ❤

Spencer asked Nicholas to stay, and he wanted to take his sons with him. Wow, powerful words were said by Father and Son. They need each other. Good performance between Spencer and Nicolas, Ace. I was about to cry. Again, it was an emotional performance. Good episode day. Bravo, Bravo to all three actors in the scene 👏👏👏👏.

While I would have loved for this scene to be longer (and uninterrupted), because they are just that good, I loved this throwback that Adam delivered to the character of Nikolas and NAC will always deliver. I don't know where he goes to pull these emotions out, but what a talent. This was so beautifully done! And baby Ace delivers right on time ... so sweet.
He essentially did though. If he wanted to use the coma as an excuse, he should have returned right away. Instead he decided to set it up to look like he never left.
Maybe that's to save Ava, because if he talked about the coma he would have to tell who put him in it. However, as everything does that may all come out later. It is probably going to tie in with who killed Gatlin Holt.

The much anticipated reunion we were all looking forward to seeing played out beautifully. Anyone coming on here with some negative nonsense about Spencer can stop. Spencer has evolved matured greatly and without the presence of his father; he chose to be better. He chose to look out for his brother(jury's still out on that) to put someone else needs before himself; and he did this all on his own; and in doing so, it greatly affected his relationship with Trina, but it also showed the similarities between the two and that they both have a tendency to get in their own way by trying to do the right thing; unfortunately to the detriment of themselves and their relationship. Trina sacrificing her chance at the Sorbonne to stay behind and help with Curtis. Spencer willing to sacrifice his happiness with Trina to be there for his brother. It's enough to piss us off, but it shows how similar these two truly are.

I agree, it's finally time for Trina and Spencer to enjoy each other; however, we know there's more on the horizon concerning Esme. Of course we have Nicholas wanting to take both of his sons abroad, but we know Spencer isn't going anywhere without his woman. I don't know if Nicholas bothered taking any of this into consideration or not; but If he's been keeping tabs on his son then he ought to know that his son and Trina are together. All I know is, Sprina is slated for an adventure which could include, Ava, Nicholas, Spencer and Trina together, and the showdown between Trina and Esme in February. We'll see!
I can see the old nikolas standing there the one that loved his sons and family with all of gis heart and the one who everybody loves. It may have taken awhile to get there but i got back there.

We haven't had this level of familial emotion since Spencer held on to hope and before that when Esme took the negative pregnancy test at Wyndomere. My thoughts were "this should have been happening at the hospital when Ace was born, even though uncle Sonny was great with his new nephew."
The best actor in the scene was the baby playing Ace. I don't know what cues the director gave him but he was so adorable reaching for Nicolas and settling against his chest.😆 Poor baby looked tired and sleepy. Definitely a different baby (twin) from the one in most scenes as Ace.
So we're still sticking with the whole Nicholas is Ace's father storyline? I'm still waiting for Esme to say otherwise. Great job today by Adam and NAC! I love the Spencer/Nicholas dynamic. I hope they can work on repairing Nicholas' character and their father/son relationship.
