Hey BP and CP, thats a alot of twine to wrap around an axle. Good idea with the bin doors. Those things happen, those favorites sometimes come in open. We only preg test heifers and we had more open than usual.
Good job of installing them doors in them bins I brought a bunch of them doors late summer from sale good idea I got some bins I use for storage going to try that my self
People should watch this show and kno that cattle farms don’t care about there animals and think it’s just $$ but look peanut don’t make you a dime niether do the horses but yet you have compassion and care for them all … yep it’s nice to see city people should understand this way of life 🥜
Doesn't sound like it's too bad... Always hate to see the old ladies go, but... And open heifers, no different than a steer, they eat the same! We'll find out how bad the train wreck is here on the 25th... All those 100°+ (40°c) days during breeding season, are probably going to eff us again.. Calves get their boosters tomorrow, if the change purses have all fallen off the steers, we'll have to see if any of our steer customers are ready to take them..

We had 9 open out of about 100 so that's pretty average for us.
