Funny I was just looking at these recently, has a nice aesthetic. Nice to see a demo since I wasn't sure how to make it talk. :) I've noticed that with a lot of talking toys, not a one has screws and all must be "cracked" open heh. :( Yeah five hands and three cameras to film the reassembly stage. ;) Looks like a fair solution for speaker repair, it's a hard part to replicate properly.

Yeah, the curves and thinness of the part really make it near impossible to replicate without equipment.
