Art is American cultural institution and should never be threatened by our government. That is un-American and unconstitutional.

SO... if we dont have the money to pay for this ... how do we continue to pay for this ??? We've been taking money out on a loan to pay for it in the past and now we've crossed beyond paying off the loan ... hmmm

The NEA, NEH, and Corporation for Public Broadcasting make up 0.02% of the federal budget. Cutting these isn't going to do jack.

Ought to be done simply for the optics. It's not fair that millions of taxes are spent on openly Marxist art enjoyed by a corporate elite.

Yeah, all those elitist toddlers watching Thomas the Marxist Tank Engine. GTFO.

I am a musician and totally get it ! Individual towns and school systems need to pick up the cost like my town did 50 years ago and stop relying on government handouts that the government cannot afford . So those of you that are the biggest crying group ... please donate to your local school system

Let's lay this out, you're agency has done the most to damage the art community and our culture than any other institution by promoting modern art. "Art" that I will point that is so bad someone leaving a trash can in a gallery can confuse people into thinking that's art, or just laying a pair of glasses on the ground. This is deplorable and when you come to argue that your agency has merits the very first thing you show us is graffiti and modern art being made.
Not someone crafting a new fine statue, not something carving wood into perfection, not a master piece being worked on. No you show us low class progressive garbage, which isn't even an insult. Janitors have mistaken modern art for garbage and thrown it away.
I'll be frank with you, your institution isn't necessary. You have a chance to help progress our culture and you failed. Now you come to us to present your case with this. Not "We're reviewing our performance and improving , but art is important because ....". Without you, museums will still be opened, artists will still paint, carve, and shape their visions into reality. You're unnecessary and you blew your one chance to convince the masses of your use with "art is important" under the assuming we would think that art would either A) Die without you, or B) you were integral to museums which you are not.
