About time, as a Nigerian l was shocked when l saw the highways in Ghana. Accra to kumasi, sunyani to takoradi looks like village roads,not roads connecting major cities.Nigeria is 4 times the size of ghana yet with dual carriageway connecting almost all the 36 states....

This is funny, because all the roads between the 36 states and Abuja in Nigeria have been dual-carriage expressways for decades.
Nigeria is way ahead in terms of road infrastructure. The problem with some Nigerians is that you don't even know your country beyond your region.
I’m from Enyiresi and I can tell you they have already started the by-pass there. It passes through my farm though but I can’t wait for it to finish. It will be a face lift for Ghana

So how are they laying the road is it going to be flat or or convex so that when the rain fall it will Flow to the gutters and back to the sea are they going to plant trees along the highways???

Those roads are death traps. I hope they do something about them. What about rail lines? Those need to be resuscitated. Too much emphasis on road links!
They are planning the resuscitation of the rail lines but the pace at which it’s moving is not really enthusiastic

There is a need to have cheap light aircraft to go between the two cities this is the way I see it also Air condition rail freight should be made in Ghana and not China the youths should be fabricating these rail freight to take all perishable goods between the two cities!

This good job but asphat is not good for ghana.some one will ask why because ghana is a hot country and has a solid ground as germany so in germany almost all roads are made with grounded stone or cement. In nederland all roads are asphat because here the land is full with water so when the sun shine the ground is still wet but in Ghana the soil become hot then the asphat melt so cars breaks becomes ineffective of the oil in the aspht that is why our motoway was built with cement. So i will say we are wasting our money on what we are doing now .i will breng People from Holland and we will built only one kilo meter road with ghana stone without cement which is todays technologe.

First this project’s focus is on creating bypasses along the stretches prone to traffic and accidents before progressing to completely dualize the road from nsawam to kumasi
We always borrow for consumption, is better we use the IMF $3.billion loan to build industries for youth and later think about roads

What is an industry 😂? Is construction not an industry ? the road won’t magically appear. There is also a logistics industry that will benefit from safer and and more efficient travel. Accident and delays also affect economic growth. Roads are essential for “industries” like you said to move product from point A to B…
