I've heard many covers before this one, and I have to say you really nailed it. Its melancholic, yearning, and grieving in every way it should be. In addition to having a great voice; the simplicity of having a single acoustic guitar flourishes the intensity, adding so many variations of emotion. This easily tops the original, even if it was originally unfinished.
Today I cried when i heard this song. It made me so sad about all the things going on in my life. Hmoob traditions and the thoughts that my parents hate the girl that i love...It tears me apart. I wish i could find some way to be happy but not dissapoint my family...You are an amazing singer Alex. Keep it up.
