Beautiful to look at. When they become more realistic in movement and speed, sailing them will be a superb hobby. I wonder how interactive they can be? To make up for the awkwardness of movement (they always look like they are toy boats in a bath), what about mock battles?
+Mark Weitzman Thanks and yes, it is great there. So we are already started with the preparation for the next ASK Model Showcase 2016 which takes place in April. So stay tuned :)
This is sooo cool. I dream to make a huge land of rc models. All types of them. I have just bought my dad a rc yacht and I can't wait to use it haha. I am in love in rc models and miniatures since I was born. I like passengers aircrafts too, but the water ones are my favorite and also trains :D And those little humans - essence.
Super video. And a super model of Stadt Zurich. Any details on this model? Has the model been described on a WEB-page, in a magazine or somewhere else?
Hi Arve, I was checking if I could find some more materials but was not lucky. It is definitelly a model build by a club colleague from the Zurich boat model club (MSCZ), so I could not easily ask on our next club meeting. Anyway, if I find out more I will post it here. By the way have you seen the video on DS Gallia in our channel? If you like "Stadt Zurich" you will love "Gallia"!!
This is a general problem that models very often are too fast for scale. This effect is seen even more in a movie. When looking to the model at the basin it is not looking that fast. And when sailing scale spreed you would think it is nearly not moving at all. But even so I agree with your comment.
RetoFor ive had minor success with gearing down to scale speeds but it is a difficult balance. I find that a little above scale speeds look better than nothing but doesnt feel too slow
Happy to see other people with the same love as I. Thank you.
Wow ! Wow ! Amazing, superb & excellent 👍👌. Very nice & cute the RCs. I love it. Many thanks to the cameraman. You had done greatest job !
Lots of models of some well known ships. The crabbing ship from the TV show was a wonderful recreation. Thank you for posting the video

Нормандия лучше всех! Normandie - beautefull ship!
Спасибо за хороший комментарий. Да, Normandie очень хороший корабль. она построила очень хорошо друг мой. Многие привет из Швейцарии.

Fantastico😄😄😄
Man loves to float

It's kinda funny to see the moskva there as well.... before it was turned into a submarine
Cool👍😻
What's the ship at 0:41?
This is Dolomedes, the "Waterspider". It is a futuristic design of a passenger ship.
Ah, I see, thanks. :)
beautiful scale models spoilt by silly none scale speeds.
