May you please give information In 2020 update Vertical offset option is not available so what I need to do or which another option is available for that command?
Helo sir my name is abdul majeed. Sir I have designed some footings before and they were good but now when ever i design some footing problems it shows very large values. Like deflection will come in E+12mm. Sir can you guide me that what is the problem? Thank you sir
Sir ,your teaching and expressing skill of anything is awesome , I have seen you all 36 safe footing videos , And I have a doubt that we assign the load only in negative z- direction it is ok , But why you not take consideration of Moment ,? Is our footing in actual real life is simply supported or fixed supported ? Pl. Guide me .
Moments are quite less if you notice and if the moments are bigger in number then you need to consider those also (those big numbers can arise due to eccentricity or other factors). Our footing are considered fixed, but for some cases like in bridges sometimes hinge and roller supports are also used.
