All of the musicians that contributed to this album are some of the most seasoned in the industry. I can't understand how some people do not like it, I think it's is very entertaining.
as much as ween relies on technology to make some of their different vocals and sounds, they are stil amazing live, pure talent, with or without technology
distortion doesn't detract from good songwriting, you'll steal be hearing the same melodies, just at a different pitch. it just adds to the silliness and fun that is ween imo, and basically all of their life performances since the beginning of time are on TH-cam. everyone is gonna have their preferred iteration of a particular song. that's one of the things I find really cool about them.
okay, i totally have you all beat- ive been listening to this song since i was less the 3 years old, and had the lyrics memorized by the age of 4. i actually remember teaching it to another kindergardener- ween is my favorite band and i hope they live forever in spite of the copious drug use
It's on an album called 12 Country Greats or 12 golden country greats. I have it on vinyl. There's a hilariously sick song called "Fluffy". The album was recorded with top Nashville session musicians i think,
Last show I was at I kept on yelling at them to play this in between songs. They didn't. Gotta love them.Probably the greatest live band that I have ever seen.No doubt.
yeah my mom wasn't too thrilled, but they're my dad's favorite as well. we have every album through white pepper (we still have to get la cucaracha) but the mollusk and country albums are the best. i don't even like country. all the albums are still pretty awesome, though...
BFS, dont try that "copped the 45 piss yellow vinyl" shit here. NOBODY has that record. Every copy belongs to WEEN themselves and there are less than 500 anyway. If you have record you stole it.
I believe this. Ween broke me from my metal stranglehold.
turbstlcards same lel

I know that Deaner has actually sold a few of Ween's vinyl rarities for veal and fine wine, so he may have actually sold a couple of these. Cheers...
God... I can't get enough of u guys!
12 golden country greats is the brownest album they put out
I have played this for quite a few good old boys who thought it was the funniest song they had ever heard!
10 songs on the album, yeah, but the 12 Golden Country Greats refers to the group of Nashville old-timers who worked on said album.

Deaner looks BETTER than Ashton Kutcher
Yeah seriously, usually live sound is horrible. But pretty good here.
Live music only sounds bad if the band sucks. Great bands sound better live.

@ciaphascain1919 Wow, was it in Columbus? Cuz there was this guy that kept yelling "PIIIISSSS UP A ROOOPE!!" Was that you? Gee thanks.
