Scars, I find, is very simple and arouses a kind of anger. Serj seems to take on some sort of deepness. When they are SOAD, they get the awesome anger and deepness at the same time.
I love SOAD don't get me wrong but if the bit of separation can get them to make a better album when they finally do come back into their SOAD groove then I'm all for it
Daron seems a little obsessed with the end of the world, even though it has already occured. Half of their songs are about the end, maybe he wants to speed up the physical ending.
