A tip that helped me improve my productions, and start giving me a guideline of what to go for is: 1- setup a template with your favorite samples and plugins and 2- make a limited 10 minutes production everyday for 1 week. 3- Creativity emerges from limitations, so when you start creating everyday, and limit your workflow to 10 minute beats/tracks, suddenly you will know better your strengh and weknesses points. You will be able to see what you create faster, what you have more facility doing. And also what takes longer and need more effort to do. At the end of the week you will have awareness inside all things you've been creating, and will be easier to shortcut the tasks based on: - more knowledge about yourself as a creative artist - your tools and what tool (plugins/samples/intruments) that helps you the most in finishing something - plus a few bunch of beats/tracks you will be wanting to finish. Its a crazy thing how we learn a pattern for our creations and stick to it without realizing that. This is gonna help you get out of the box and maybe find your creativity flow to improve your incomes and keep you passionate about your creations

One of the tricks I am using is giving a 2 choices only smartlink to people... Using ads with audio preview to bring people to visit my smartlink. From there, they find a link to my spotify main playlist to generate streams and build a fanbase and I also offer 1 link to beatport as a buying option. When people chose to buy instead of streaming it bring the equivalent of 300-400 streams in one clic! A you stream B you Buy
Skills will improve with time, experience and mostly patience. One easy way to make money would be selling physical copies of your music. Make an album or compilation and sell it on cds in your local city. Also, buy custom stickers with QR codes and place them around the city so people can scan and stream your music 🤫👍

There are lots of amazing songwriters, rappers, bands etc out there who might not have a studio or the skills to record and produce their own music. Being able to help an artist with their vision and produce (or even co-write) a track is super rewarding, a great way to build up your creative community and gets your name out there for future clients/collabs. Plus getting a fee and or a royalty split can be a good source of income. Especially if you have a split of the track when it's released because that opens up revenue from places like live performance and streaming.
