In a previous video, I demonstrated how to make creamy polenta ( • How To Make Creamy Pol... ). In this video, we take the leftover creamy polenta, let it set overnight and then pan fry. The fried polenta cake is then topped with a simple capresse salad (tomato, basil and fresh mozzarella), making it a great summer dish.
Fried polenta is extremely versatile, here are some additional serving ideas:
    * Top with a poached or fried egg and serve for breakfast.
    * Top with tomato sauce, shredded cheese and serve alongside meat.
    * Drizzle with olive oil and a sprinkling of chopped herbs.
    * Top with a tomato and corn salsa for a light, summer side dish.

    - really good clear presentation.
    - good creative ideas for use of leftover polenta
    - good practical tips for how to pan fry it without getting hit by fat splatter
    - nice idea for plating and serving it, as a caprese with reduced balsamico.
So yeah, just a quite good video, really. Please do keep it up, and thanks for the video, Chef!

I’ve never eaten polenta before, but this video has changed my mind, thanks. A nice alternative to bread, especially if one is wheat intolerant.

I made polenta yesterday and it was as easy and delicious as you made it look. Thanks again for the recipe and the instructions.

I usually put a clickable link in the description of each video which should bring you to a page with the recipe. TH-cam also just rolled out a new feature that allows me to link directly to my website within the video. In future videos, I'll start embedding a recipe link at the beginning, which I think will be a cool feature. Thanks for the suggestion!

I just made polenta for the first time. Also, chef I think there was a payment error when I bought your F-STEP curriculum. I did email you but perhaps you've changed your email. Could you look and see if it charged me double $27 US like it looked like it did
    Aidan Poulter is my name.
Great idea in the video thanks.
