The difference between Christianity and Indian culture is the idea of diversity and secularism. Christianity believes that JESUS is the only true God and CHRISTIANITY is the only true religion. Whereas, In India, there is DIVERSITY and SECULARISM.
When Christian missionaries came to India, there were more than 330 million GODS, 39893 religions, and more languages. More than 20,000 languages are spoken in India as mother tongues. Indian culture encourages and respects the concept of several Gods and religions living together happily. Indians believe that conversion is a SIN.
GOD IS ONE BUT PATHS ARE DIFFERENT like many RIVERS FLOWING SEPARATELY AND ULTIMATELY REACHING THE OCEAN. That is the Indian idea of DIVERSITY and SECULARISM.
Mahatma Gandhi and Dr BR Ambedkar criticized the missionaries who converted innocent, illiterate, economically poor villagers. In Indian culture, conversion is a sin.
Another difference is the concept of God. The concept of ONENESS vs DUALITY. Christianity believes JESUS is the GOD and human beings are his DEVOTEES /FOLLOWERS. The concept of DUALITY.
Indians believe in ADVAITA SIDHANTAM. This means GOD and DEVOTEES ARE ONE AND NOT DIFFERENT. The concept of ONENESS. You have to look within, to see God. You are the GOD. In the Indian language, it is known as " AHAM BRAHMASAMI". " TATWAMASI".
God is worshipped in all forms, all names, all shapes, God has no physical body ( male or female or transgender). ONE ( SAME ) God is present in all human beings, all animals, all birds, all creatures, all trees, all plants, and all non-living beings like rock, sand, water, fire, air, or everything. Therefore, Indians do not focus on conversion. Indians see (same)GOD in everything. SAME God resides inside of everything, in all living and non-living beings.
The concept of ONENESS. There is no need to convert human beings to Christianity and to make them believe that JESUS is the ONE, TRUE GOD and CHRISTIANITY is the ONE, TRUE RELIGION. There is DIVERSITY and SECULARISM in Indian philosophy.

If Hindus didn't believe in conversions, they wouldn't be spreading their beliefs and message in other countries. Every religion does it. Hindus are as happy when someone converts from other religions to Hinduism. It is also done by Muslims. Why?? Only Christians are not the only ones. This is how religion is supposed to be. You think yours is the best whether you admit it or not. Your lengthy post about Hindu beliefs explains this point. There's one very big difference. Christianity is not a religion. It was never meant to be. It is your relationship with your father, God, who is the Trinity. God the father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I believe, just like others, a Christian has a right to share his or her belief, and it's for the listener to know what's his path to be. I'm saved and a born-again Christian. This means that it's not my good deeds that can earn me the right to go to heaven. But what Jesus has already done on the Cross, on our behalf, by taking our sins upon Himself and in exchange imparting to us His righteousness and now by trusting Him, I've received salvation Amen. Since then, I have experienced such peace and joy that nothing in this world compares to it. I will share it with anyone who will hear. That doesn't mean I'm converting the listener. If I had known a cure to cancer and share it with people, it's their choice to believe it or not.

When did christians beleived in one God ...as Long as anyone belives in Trinity(Father, Son and Holy spirt and fancy words like hypostatic union, triune God, unity in trinity etc etc) Trinitarian Christians beleives in Three Gods, And It is clearly againt the first commandment ...its as simple as that.

    • @100huntley
      @100huntley  22 วันที่ผ่านมา

The doctrine of the Trinity is a cornerstone of Christian theology, articulating that God exists as three persons-Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit-who are distinct yet fundamentally united in essence. Each person of the Trinity is fully God, co-equal, and co-eternal, reflecting a monotheistic belief in one God in three persons.
This concept of consubstantiality, a key theological term, indicates that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are of the same substance or essence. This unity preserves Christian monotheism by ensuring that worship and divine sovereignty are attributed not to multiple gods, but to a single divine essence manifest in a tri-personal form.
Christianity's commitment to monotheism, as reinforced by the First Commandment, aligns with Trinitarian doctrine through its affirmation of one God in a complex, internal relationship. The Nicene Creed, foundational to Christian orthodoxy, affirms this by declaring the Son as "of one being with the Father" and the Holy Spirit as proceeding from the Father and the Son, emphasizing a unified divine nature rather than a polytheistic division.
So the Trinity should not be seen as a contradiction of monotheism but as its deepest expression, illustrating how one God can exist in a relational and dynamic unity. This doctrine is not just about the nature of God but also about the mystery of God's eternal and relational essence.

Sad the way Christianity closed eyes of people.

    • @100huntley
      @100huntley  23 วันที่ผ่านมา

Thank you for bringing this up; it’s crucial to address these points directly and clearly from a Christian perspective. We hold firmly to the belief that Jesus Christ is the unique and only way to God, based on His words in John 14:6: "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." This statement underpins our conviction that while many religions exist, they do not offer the salvation that comes exclusively through Jesus Christ.
In a world filled with diverse beliefs, this claim of exclusivity can certainly challenge the notion that all religions are equal paths to God. The truth claims of different religions inherently contradict each other; for instance, monotheism contradicts polytheism, and theism contradicts atheism. This isn't to diminish the sincerity of individuals who follow other faiths but to clarify that the Christian faith is based on the belief in a definitive revelation from God through Jesus Christ.
Therefore, as Christians, we are called not just to coexist with others who believe differently but to lovingly and earnestly share the message of Jesus Christ. We do this not out of a spirit of superiority, but from a deep desire to share what we believe to be the path to eternal life and true fulfillment. We engage in these conversations with gentleness and respect, praying that others will come to know the profound love and grace that God offers through Jesus Christ.
How can we discuss these beliefs in ways that are both respectful and true to our faith?

One the most stpd thing about Christianity is that jesus died for others sins
Rather than punishing the criminal, he fkng died for them so that those criminal rapist can go heaven, ridiculous belief
And if he wanted to simply pardon their sins what the point of doing drama of dying and then again arising from dead??

    • @100huntley
      @100huntley  24 วันที่ผ่านมา

Amazing question! And I'd love to help clarify these concepts.
In Christianity, the belief that Jesus died for the sins of others is at the heart of the faith. This isn't seen as a foolish thing but as a profound expression of God's love. According to the Bible, all humans are considered sinners not just in terms of specific acts like crimes, but in our very nature which is estranged from God (Romans 3:23). The consequence of this sin is not only physical death but eternal separation from God (Romans 6:23).
Jesus' death is viewed as substitutionary atonement. This means He took the penalty that was due to us, so that we might be reconciled to God. It's not about pardoning criminals without justice being served; it's about Jesus fulfilling justice on our behalf. 2 Corinthians 5:21 explains it like this: "God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God."
As for the resurrection, it's crucial because it proves that Jesus has power over death and sin. It's not merely a "drama," but a powerful demonstration of God’s power to bring life from death, hope from despair. The resurrection is God's assurance to us that death is not the end, and it validates everything Jesus claimed about who He is and why He came. This is why it's called the 'Good News' and why we share it with everyone we can!
These beliefs are central to Christianity because they show that God is both just and the justifier of those who trust in Jesus (Romans 3:26). It's a hope that doesn’t make sense in human terms-it transcends human justice and offers a radical form of forgiveness and new life.
What are your thoughts on seeing it as an act of ultimate love rather than just a legal transaction?

      @100huntley  24 วันที่ผ่านมา

It looks like there are a couple of points here we can clarify to help understand Christian teachings better.
Firstly, about God's love for criminals-Christianity teaches that God's love is universal and extends to all people, no matter their past actions. This doesn’t mean He approves of their sins but that His love and offer of redemption are available to everyone. In the Bible, Jesus says, "For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners" (Matthew 9:13). The idea is not that God loves the sin but that He loves the sinner and offers a way to turn away from sin through Jesus.
As for the creation of Adam and Eve, in Christian belief, their creation wasn’t a sin. God created them good and with free will. The sin came into the picture when Adam and Eve chose to disobey God’s command in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3). This act-often referred to as the "Fall"-is seen as the original sin because it was the first time humanity chose to go against God's will. It’s not viewed as God committing a sin but as humans exercising their free will to sin.
God's creation of humans, including their free will, is considered fundamentally good, but it also comes with the responsibility to choose between obedience and disobedience. This freedom is essential to the Christian understanding of love, morality, and personal growth. What are your thoughts on the concept of free will and its implications in our lives?

As Christians, we believe that there is only one God, and He is revealed through Jesus Christ. This belief is based on scriptures such as Isaiah 45:5, where it says, "I am the Lord, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God." In the New Testament, Jesus confirms this in John 14:6 by stating, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
While we respect and acknowledge the roles of various leaders in societies, including political figures like Narendra Modi, it's crucial to distinguish that in Christianity, no earthly leader is equated with God. Leaders are seen as individuals who can potentially be used by God for purposes in this world, but they themselves are not divine.

Many of these people claim curing, using nervous system stimulants like amphetamine or similar and then offer money to entice in to the faith!
A PERSON, TRUE TO ONE'S INNER SELF, WOULD NEVER SEEK TO BRAINWASH OTHER PERSON IN GULLIBLE SITUATION IN THE GUISE OF GENUINE HELP!!
Jesus personally was not after converting people by cunning! But Christianity spread as a conquest through violence and later (mid 20th century onwards) spread through cunning! Islam spread totally through barbaric violence!
ONE OFF GOOD THING ABOUT CHRISTIANITY IS THEY DO NOT ENFORCE "SAR TAN SE JUDA - SEPARATE THE HEAD FROM BODY" TO THOSE WHO QUIT CHRISTIANITY!
And most of the Christian Nations are the most humane/charitable in action, NOT BECAUSE THEY FOLLOW BIBLE, BUT BECAUSE THEY CHALLENGED THE CHURCH AND THE BIBLE, MANAGED TO CHANGE THE CONTENTS IN BIBLE TO SUIT THE MODERN TIMES AND TOOK AWAY THE POWER OF CLERGY THAT CONTROLLED THEIR DAY TO DAY LIFE (IN THE NAME OF ADMITTING SIN IN FRONT OF FATHER TO GET RID OF THE SIN!!!) You're bringing up some common questions about Christian beliefs. We hold that there is one God who exists in three persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. This isn't about three gods but one God in three Persons. This concept, known as the Trinity, is a profound mystery that showcases both the unity and depth of God’s nature.
As for evidence of God's existence, Christians look to the Bible as the primary source of divine revelation. The Bible details God’s character, His creation, and His interactions with people, particularly through Jesus Christ, who is considered the ultimate manifestation of God's character and love. For instance, John 1:1-14 helps us understand how Jesus is distinct from the Father yet fully God.
This belief is supported by Scripture, the personal experiences of believers, and the transformative impact on the lives of those who commit to following Jesus. If you’re open to exploring more, the Gospel of John is a great place to start to see how Jesus embodies and reveals God's character. And of course, we're open to answering any questions. Have a great day.

@@franka1442 1. The trinity concept was absorbed from so called pagan tradition outside India by Christianity. Since "pagans" lost touch with correct understanding of well validated HIndu/Vedic Dvaitha (duality) and Advaitha (nondual) metaphysics, Abrahamic religions also ended up copying them in a half baked manner. it led to monotheism which cannot be validated by logic or experiment or embodied experience since it simply says that there is a transcendent "god" who is totally disconnected from the universe but still can create our universe and its laws of nature out of thin air using a magic wand and override them whenever "he" wants
Ancestors of "pagans" were Hindu/Vedic people who were present all over the world before 4000 BCE. Ancestors of Abrahamic religion followers were "pagans".
All Abrahamic religions have lifted from the concept of 33 vedic deities (from so called paganism outside India)- 33 vedic deities is the reason why Jacob's ladder on which angel Gabriel came down to meet Mohammad/ Moses/ Mormon founder Joseph Smith etc has 33 steps.. 33 vedic deities is the reason why the Islamic rosary called Misbahah , to keep track of counting of Tasbih has 33 beads, to perform dhikr ( tasbeeh/ tahmeed/ takbeer ).. 33 vedic deities is the reason why in precise Torah, Elohim is written 33 times, genesis' story of creation .. Elohim means Canaanite god adopted by Jews.
Judaism got the so called "star of david" symbol (present on the Jewish flag of Israel) from Hindu tradition as well which is a symbolic representation of Anahatha or heart chakra (can be seen in ancient Hindu temples of south India) or Shvia and Shakthi union at the macrocosm level.
The Christmas tree came from the so -called Paagan tradition of Europe. Church bell is also inspired by HIndu temple bells. Christians are still digesting Hindu traditions like Yoga (calls it Christian yoga), nondual ADVAITHA metaphysics (calls it Jesus consciousness), Bharathanatiyam or dance movements which represent Vedic metaphysics (calls it Chrisitian natiyam) all done for easy proselytization of Hindus
Islam also digested lot of "pagan" traditions including their "kaaba" stone worship in mecca. In south India, there is still an ancient KAABAlishwaran shiva temple.
Mecca is distinct from other mosques all over the world - the practices followed within its portals are NOT the same as in other mosques all around the world. There are major similarities with ancient Hindu/Vedic practice
Hindu/Vedic practices require devotees to enter temples in seamless white sheets.
Hindu/Vedic prathikshanam ( circumambulation ) is walking round 7 times, clockwise. Muslims cannot kiss the black stone (which activates the 7 chakras of the human body) any more, emulating the kiss it received from the prophet, as the stone was broken in the middle ages and is now held by silver clamps and nails . Muslims now do 7 counter clockwise circles around the stone.
      2. The mysterious number 786 is sacred in the Koran. Nobody has been able to explain what it is, though it is printed on all Arabic Korans.
Write an OM symbol ( sound frequency 7.83 Hertz ) in Sanskrit and keep it facing a mirror and you can see like MAGIC the number 786 in Devanagari script.
Kaaba was a pilgrimage site for centuries, more from from the days on King Vikramaditya- even Guru Nanak ( a non muslim and a Sikh guru ) had been there .
Encyclopedia Britannica says Kaaba has 360 idols including a King Vikramaditya inscribed gold dish, in a temple chamber called Ishalayam. King Vikramaditya ruled the whole world 7500 years before the birth of Islam.

If two persons, one Indian and one white, of same stature are presented in front of another Indian he will respect and honor the White! That’s an inherent nature of Indians. It’s not tolerance! Everybody knows this in this era of international interactions.

it's a shame that most +tians think that Jesus was the only Christ. Jesus represents a highly evolved consciousness, divinity as a form of the 'One'

Itsounds like you're sharing a perspective where Jesus is seen more as an emblem of elevated consciousness or spirituality, common in some New Age or universalist views. This interpretation contrasts sharply with the foundational Christian understanding of Jesus as the Christ, the Son of God, and humanity's Savior.
In traditional Christian doctrine, Jesus is not merely a wise teacher or an enlightened being. According to the Bible, He is God incarnate. This belief is crucial because it emphasizes that Jesus's divinity is not representative; He is divine by nature. As stated in John 1:14, "The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth." This scripture underscores the Christian conviction that Jesus is uniquely God's Son, manifesting grace and truth in human form.
In Acts 4:12 asserts, "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved." This passage highlights the exclusivity of Jesus as the sole means of salvation, a core tenet of Christian theology.
These teachings are pivotal in Christianity, shaping how believers understand the nature of God, salvation, and their personal relationship with Jesus. They affirm that Jesus' role isn't just symbolic of the divine but is the actual embodiment of God's presence with us, offering a unique and direct relationship with the divine through Him. This distinction is essential in appreciating the profound nature of Jesus' identity and mission in Christian faith.
How did you come to your belief?

@pragasanarchary2980 You can't look at hindu/Vedic metaphysics (consciousness, oneness, nonduality etc) through the lens of monotheism followed by Abrahamic religons like Christianity". It contradicts monotheism which simply says that there is a transcendent "god" who is totally disconnected from the universe but stil can create our universe and its laws of nature out of thin air using a magic wand 🤣🤣 and override it whenever "he" wants.

Thanks for the comment. We understand God as transcendent, yes, but also as immanent-meaning He is both above all and present within His creation. It's a bit like how an artist pours themselves into their art while remaining distinct from it. Christians believe God doesn't just interact with the world on a whim but is constantly at work, guiding and loving through His providence.
