jazkakaAllah Sir, I have a point of view which may be different. I think, when you open Quran with Niyyat of recitation on a smart phone then for that Time that Smart Phone is like a Quran. And Yes I agree that it is preferable mustahab but not compulsory to be in the state of Ablution while reciting the Quran. However, when being in the state of ablution is prohibiting you from reciting and understating Quran, then it is permissible to recite even without in the state of Ablution. Instead of just talking minor issues of the belief being inside a cave of beliefs, understand the reality of that belief. Understand the reality that the messenger would not have violated a main commandment in the quran to pray three times a day by praying five times, if it was really from the god all-powerful as believed. His violation proves that it is not from god. It also proves that the story about mihraj is also false because it contradicts the quran, which says to pray three times a day.
Why did Dr.Zakir just put his boundaries of Islamic knowledge limited to religious comparative debate. Why is he talking about shariah rulings. He makes open statements, some scholars, or he says, in general, all scholars. Whom is he referring to. This is why there is a ruling committee , who refers to so many references before applying the rule. Any deviation, by scholars without proper, shall lead to he'll. Understand Quran was blessed to guide His Beloved Messenger and Beloved Shahab and Ummath coming in this world, until day of judgment. Just remove or eliminate the technology. They were misunderstood the verse of quran (pure only touch quran) , that only mention about angels not us. So allah and rasool didnt said that, then y v have to follow. Many people revert to islam bcoz of read quran, v cant say to do wudu. And allah said quran for humanbeing not only for muslim.
