    Straight and simple! Excellent basic tutorial. That's why I bought your course video; you do explain "complex" things in a easy way. Thanks.

    My friend, you've just helped me identify a fault with my Siel Mono I didn't know I had!
    I had to rebuild it as it was left in a barn for years and the ADSR never felt like it was working right other than the release, now I've seen your video I DEFINITELY need to open the old girl up. Thank you!

    Best way to demo ADSR is to do it on a VCO first. Then do it after on a VCF or VCA Doing it that way makes it easier to understand the effects of the envelope.

    Can you make a comparison between linear and exponantial ADSRs and which is best suited for making which type of sound?

  • @Shred_The_Weapon
    @Shred_The_Weapon 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    This demonstration would have been a Mucho help to me, even if I didn’t already know what ADSR stood for. I am curious though. When you decided to produce this particular video, was the Prophet 5 what you always had in mind for conducting it?

  • @mpingo91
    @mpingo91 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

    This is actually simple and obvious. I, however, still have difficulties with using the envelope to modulate the filter. That is, I know how it technically works, how the envelope automatically "moves" the filter controls, but I can't use it to deconstruct the sound. I.e. I have a sound in my head, I know it's based on filter modulation but I also can't set the envelope. There would be a good video.
