Would have been interested to see how the zed did in high yield, general will give a better response on targets over 10 grams, but high yield gives better response to smaller targets.
I could still hear the soft response without the mod on gpx5000 and at the end of the day to me it isn't about how loud i can make the response by swinging over it 100s of times, its about if i hear it at all and I could so, I will not get this mod as it doesn't offer any improvement. Might be best suited for hearing impaired people.
The mod I would say is a gain control with a switch for for different operating frequencies , if looking for tiny stuff high frequency ,big stuff lower frequency . There are 6 to choose from and gain is ground dependent . More gain more emi ground etc target better . Use as ground conditions allow
I cant help you with that as there are lots of variables on types of gold . Maybe check out my latest video testing on a lead ball at 350 mm .might be worth a look cheers
My choice is a modded 5000 with 18 inch coil . As for the 2000 great old machine and got some deep gold with that back in the day . I’m not sure on the mod with it so I can’t really say . Sorry
I will send mine from california USA once you guys are back from the baby, thanks for all that hard work done in the video, Enrique
A great video mate. Really shows the potential of Micks mods.
Thanks
Great clip mate , was always in two minds about mods but you can’t argue with your video
Thanks will do more comparisons on deep targets. Im convinced too .

I tried high yield was a little noisy I should have videoed it . I will on next target .cheers
Awesome job Maurice 👌 mine is in the queue to get done at micks
That's great mate. I've got Mick's latest mod as well, can't believe the depth and gold I'm getting.
Yes modded 5000, same as the one in the video@@Michael-fs7su
Well done
Do you reckon a boosted 4500 would of got it ? I reckon it would have. Those 7000s are way to heavy for me.

The target is there without the mod but it’s much easier with
Great.
Thanks
No your settings on your machine, dude
Great
please explain what mod are you using on the 5000, or is it a sound booster?

Thing is will the modded gpx 5000 find the same types of gold the 7 and 6 find, reefy , honey comb etc

I use my GPX17 for searching everyday
