Good song I love the darker, gritty sound . Placebo vibes too with surrounded by spies just released. Looking forward to 2022 musically. All the pent up frustration and adversity of the last 2 years should be released through some epic songs.

Saw them open for badflower in Seattle and they were great. It's not often that the "warm-up" band makes such a huge impression.

So I first heard these guys in game Motorstorm, and absolutely loved the song "I wish I was someone better", but listening to their other songs I didn't like it. Now I came back to them and I have a question to my past self, WTF is wrong with you!? I'm glad I grew up to loving these guys. Can't wait to see them in Newcastle 😁😁😁

I may be mistaken, I think you opened with this song when my wife and I saw you in Hamburg at the Molotov. We were pretty much right up front. You know those great standing spots where you're expected to be deaf by the end of the set. To be honest, I had gone to see GLU open for you guys. I met my wife through Queens of the Stone Age. I hadn't actually heard of Blood Red Shoes. You apparently made some sort of impact on my mind that night because while I may not listen to your music every day, I certainly think at least once a day about the concert and what I heard. It's good. Very good. On a side note, my first thought was "Hey, this guy behind the drums hits them awfully hard, I hope they're ok. He also reminds me of Professor Lockhart from Harry Potter." Maybe it's your hair style. I'm not sure.

Blood Red Shoes acaban de estrenar este vídeo de "Morbid fascination", un tema perteneciente a su último EP de seis canciones: "Ø" con el que anunciaron su regreso a mediados de este año. Estas composiciones fueron concebidas durante la primera etapa del distanciamiento social, Laura-Mary Carter y Steven Ansell han querido tomar las riendas de la producción, la grabación y las mezclas, cansados del continuo ninguneo de las discográficas. Ellos lo explican así: “Lo llamamos 'Ø' porque es el símbolo en el equipo de audio para invertir la señal. El interruptor de tirón. Cuando presiona el botón Ø, lo positivo se vuelve negativo y lo negativo se vuelve positivo. Lo que se siente muy a nosotros. Y también dificulta que la gente sepa cómo pronunciar el nombre. Lo que también es muy, muy ... nosotros". Laura-Mary y Steven afirman que les encaja perfectamente.
La banda dice que "Ø" son ellos "liberando nuestras energías improvisando en voz alta y escribiendo canciones sobre asesinos psicópatas, sobre la muerte que viene a buscarte en la noche, sobre el miedo a la intimidad, sobre esas malditas personas aburridas que se quejan en línea las 24 horas del día, los 7 días de la semana, pero nunca abandonan su sillón ".
Después de casi quince años de vida musical, el dúo de Brighton Blood Red Shoes son sin duda una de las bandas más infravaloradas. Siempre han estado en un segundo plano, pero la contundencia de sus temas y ese impactante sonido de indie rock rasposo les habría tenido, por justicia poética, llevar a ser mucho más reconocidos. Desde que editaron "Box Of Secrets" en 2008 su sonido resultaba original, bien diferenciado de las bandas de su entorno, con esa propuesta a la que han sido fieles de combinar una batería contundente con una guitarra electrizante y las voces chico-chica combinadas con efectividad que se entrelazan a la perfección.
