Hey for the brim the last few rows do you follow the same format as the first row and then you the stitches will increase or ? Please help me I’m so confused with the amount of stitches
Sorry for the confusion! Hope this helps starting with the first row of the brim: Inc in first stitch, hdc1 in the next 9 stitches. Repeat 8 times (88 sts - row 1) For the next 5 rows, increase in 8 random spots around the hat (the makes the brim more rounded, less pointy) so the stitch count for each row should be: Row 2 brim - 96 sts Rows 3 brim - 104 sts Rows 4 brim - 112 sts Row 5 brim - 120 sts Row 6 brim - 128 sts
I love the way your hat turned out, the video can be a little fast at some points my question is are you finishing each row by slip stitching or are you finishing your half double crochets and going right into the next row? I hope that makes sense. Thank you for a great vid ❤
Thank you! In the video o believe I was just going to the next hdc but ideally you should sl st and then ch 1 before continuing your hdc for a cleaner look 💖
Hi! I used I Love This Yarn from Hobby Lobby and a 5mm hook but I had to stop the brim at row 3 or it would cover my eyes. I also only did 8 rows for the body because it was getting too big. Your yarn looks smaller than mine, is it because you're using cotton? Would you suggest that I size up my hook to a 5.5mm or size down to a 4.5 mm hook?
I love everything you make. ❤ My daughter loves and wants me making just about everything you’ve made and I was so confused; but You’ve definitely gotten better with your crochet language; tutorials and responds to the comments!! I’m so proud of you!!💖🥰 Which yarn bee yarn are you using?
congratulations on 10k Lewa! and great tutorial! i have a question though, is there a particular reason why you do 8hdc in the magic circle with these hats vs 6hdc like you do with the chelly hats?
Hi sorry for the late reply! The pattern is hdc2, hdc1, hdc1 for row 3. But then for each row you go up, you’re going to add an extra hdc so for row 4, it’s hdc2c hdc1,hdc1,hdc1 for row 5 it’s hdc2, hdc1, hdc1,hdc1, hdc1 and do on until you reach row 8!
This is a more intermediate level tutorial that requires you to have prior crochet knowledge so you can also follow along by just following the onscreen text but I’ll keep that in mind for future videos!
The yarn you use give this a smooth texture, got to try it. The hat size
Yess mercerized cotton will do that! 🥰
Love your hats
Thank you 💖
your hate designs are amazing girl! 😍✨
Thank you so much 🥹🫶🏾🫶🏾
Just when I thought I would just have to wing it for this boneless bucket hat you gave us the tutorial
BIG Thanks 💖
Glad I could help!🥰🫶🏾🫶🏾

Thank you so much for responding 🥺💕Ohh so I do the same thing as the first row and the number of stitches will just increase for eash row?

Love this pattern. Can you also provide your background music playlist. It’s so soothing.
Thank you! And I don’t have a music playlist but the songs are all from epidemic sounds and in the description ❣️

I’m using mercerized cotton yarn and it is a bit thinner that’s why your hat might be coming out bigger. I would suggest sizing down your hook size!
@@abikeadelomo thanks did! Will do
Proud of you Babygirl ❤

Which yarn bee yarn are you using?

congratulations on 10k Lewa! and great tutorial! i have a question though, is there a particular reason why you do 8hdc in the magic circle with these hats vs 6hdc like you do with the chelly hats?
Thank you so much!! And I’m using a smaller hook and smaller size yarn so I started with more hdc 🫶🏾🫶🏾
Hey just for clarity, are we hd 2 then 1 in the 3 then repeat? 2,1,1,1,2,1,1,1,2?
And if if so, is that for all of the crown?

Thank you so much, easy to follow tutorial, what kind of yarn do you use for your bucket hat?
Thank you! I used 100% mercerized cotton from Yarn bee 🫶🏾
Hey , quick question , where'd you get the vinyl player from ?
It was a Christmas gift, I think it was from target though, it’s a Crowley record player! 🤍
omg thank you so much I've been looking for one for my bff. @@abikeadelomo
I been waiting for this one!! 😩😮💨
🤭💌💌
Thank you! QQ: If I add decide to do 11 rows instead, do I do 2 HC 10 SC to start brim?
You start the brim the same was regardless of how many rows you make your cap!
Please how many inches is the crown from the middle to the edge?
About 4 inches 🫶🏾
@@abikeadelomo thank you!!
That means the crown alone was 8 inches? Right?
Wow you learned on TH-cam! How long have you been crocheting love? 😍😍🔥 I love your work and patterns!
Thank you so much!! & almost 2 years now all self taught through the tube 🫶🏾🫶🏾
When you go to next round do you chain up?
Yes! I don’t think I mention it in the video but you should chain 1 before the start of each row
I’m obsessed too, I don’t know if it’s a healthy obsession.
Omdsss yessss 😭
Been waiting for this🥹❤️
I Love them
Thank you🥹💌
Is the color change going into the first stitch?
You can color change at anytime, just make sure you’re doing it the same way each time. I color change during my second increase stitch
hi isnt it 36 stitches im the 4th row instead of 32?
It should always be a multiple of 8, row 4 should be 32 stitches!
Sorry i'm confused 😭, if the end of the middle of the hat is a total of 96 st, how do we now start the brim with only a total of 88?
If you did 11 rows of the cap you should have 88 st but if you compete 12 rows, then you'll start with 96 st. Sorry for the confusion!
@@abikeadelomoThanks 🫶🏼
Is the coloured yarn you used acrylic?
Yes it is!
Wow
Girl you’re so fucking cute and so beautiful. Brought me joy the second I started watching
Omg thank you 🥹🫶🏾🫶🏾
Niceeeee
Too fast

I slow the speed down in the settings. Hope that helps 😊
