Hey Glasses Kingdom. How you been? Just thought I'd give an update to 4th Impact. They have gone Independent and been in LA for 8 months. They returned home to see their Father and brother for Christmas, but will return to LA in January. They have released two original songs while in LA: DISTORTED written by Miklos Malek and ALL AT ONCE written by Nicolas Farmakalidis / Rachel West. Maybe we'll see you at one of their Livestreams.

First time i heard it, my thoughts were right there with yours......but after hearing it so many times now.....it just sounds GREAT! That was Irene singing the last part. Her range goes fairly low and she (and Mylene) really anchor their work. Thanks for the reaction.
Imagine came in at 53rd place today for 4th Impacts most daily views. This performance does not get as much credit as it should. Even though it runs rather much in the high range and has some really unexpected minor harmonies...it is still quite remarkable! i wonder if the minor harmonies were a bit of an experiment or what? They really threw me off at first but now they simply feel successfully avant-garde. 😊

I have no musical training at all, that's why I like to listen to people that do. I understand what you're saying about low notes. I grew up listening to the old southern gospel quartets and still love the 4 part harmony but when i found these 4 sisters, they blew me away. There's just something different about their harmony, can't beat family harmony! I agree 100%...they did a great job but the overall tone was very high and you lose that "richness" that you spoke about. When you sing that high and try to belt it becomes a bit "scratchy". I would have rather that they would have sung this more like they were having a more "reverent" relationship with this song. Like you ..this is not a criticism but more of a preference. By the way Mylene played the guitar and added it to the soundtrack after the song was recorded. I did agree that was a nice touch.

Actually, the first time I heard this version it brought tears to my eyes because of how rich it was. I was very surprised to read your assessment. I personally would have been disappointed had they performed it with a more reverent relationship. You are right, it is a preference. However, saying it sounded a bit scratchy was inexplicable from my perspective. How are you defining scratchy? Maybe I do not understand what you are saying from a musical perspective.
@@ThaiChinaMalay Not to worry..I would never be disappointed in any performance from the girls. Scratchy is my word that means that some of the richness of the highest notes were lost.
