Dungey wasn’t the fastest rider all the time but he fell only once or twice this whole season. He got kinda lucky that Roczen went down

I hear what you're saying, but that's not how champions are crowned. You have to be there every race! You can win by a second or a mile, a win is a win. You gotta be there until the end. Dungey did that better than anyone else.

Trey Canard is such a good person, but was too reckless on the track imo
Zachary Kelley 100%...dude rode over his limit too often which is why he was always injured or worse injuring other riders as well. You know you’re doing something wrong when you land on the back of 2 diff riders within a few races...
Man I forgot how reckless Canard used to ride, always injuring himself and others in he process of rising above his skill level. Reminds me of current day Alex Martin
Not really, he rode within his capabilities nearly all the time just had bad luck on the sx track. Mainly normal racing incidents

Canard showed he was an elite racer.
I just started watching like 2 seasons ago and iv already lost tomac and bar to bar.........i better see both back next season or im out

No, I was never as fast as these guys, but I did just make it to pro level. I didn't have much technique, but I rode like a madman (Bob Hannah style) and usually stayed on the bike.

lol RV was dominating the second part of the Championship, Reed was always really fast at some of the races but wasn't as good as RV and not as consistent speedwise.
Agreed, CR22 had RV's number by arlington and was able to consistently run him down, that weird kick into OTB endo which broke his scapular in 3 places and totalled his knee was the end of his championship runs.

This year and 2016 were Dungey's easiest supercross championship's, I know he yelled at reporters in 2017 and said nothing is guaranteed but I've raced long enough to know that when your main competition is gone RV and JS its just made too easy....
