In contrast, listeners are representative of people who just listen to videos, they prefer more calm and chill things, but they’re far and few. Either way, they’re powerful and have an influence on how things work and happen. They want different things and are cutthroat to get what they want. Fandom Wiki probably has more factual information, that’s just what my au depicts them as.
I’m actually not fully sure of what a Listener is in canon. What I do know is that they contrast/oppose the Watchers and the Watchers don’t like them. In my AU, they represent the people who prefer to listen to videos in the background over watching them, so they prefer calm and chill environments and less action. But they’ll get involved if the Watchers do something especially bad. Basically, they’re the lurkers in chat that only speak up to tell the others off.
