Please make sure you have an active internet connection. Because the recognition process is online. And also you should have a working microphone. (Some integrated microphones don't work fine). So it is recommended to use and external one.

I tried to troubleshoot it myself but can't figure it out, I need a real hero again, lol
Hello . I'm sorry for late reply. Make sure your internet connection is strong enough to connect to the voice recognition server because this process (voice recognition) is totally connected with the Microsoft server. And recognition can only be done if your internet connection is strong. Reach me out if the problem persist.... Best of Luck

@@koynagupta8790 Hi Konya. Dictate feature is not only in word. Rather it is in google docs too. Which you can use online. And you can dictate in all languages and save your file as .docx.

For example, I use my mobile phone as a virtual keyboard and I do voice typing in MS Word as well as everywhere in windows with the help of my cell phone. This procedure is a bit long . Thanks 😊
It's not possible in windows. But I have an indirect method which is paid. By this method you can do voice typing in all languages in Microsoft word and every computer software (in English, Urdu , Arabic, Hindi and many more)

Please choose English language from settings. And if English language Pack hasn't been downloaded, download it. Also your internet connection should be working

If you want to ask about the shortcut key to switch between languages then it is windows Logo key+Space bar And if you want to ask that how we can add languages then go to settings time and language>add language and then select the language which you want to add. Note: Your "screen keyboard" will show the language which you'll select for type input by pressing Windows Logo key+Space bar

On Mac there's an indirect method which I'll share on my channel soon. That method will support voice typing in all languages and also in every text field (notepad, chrome) in windows or Mac.

I think you've to upgrade your system to windows 10. Perhaps, it's windows built-in feature. You don't have to update to latest office version
