Cabins Du Breuil - Dordogne

🐤The Breuil huts are located in St André d'Allas, about ten km from Sarlat, in the Dordogne. 🦆
Dating from the 19th century, these huts are built by a stack of stone, but above all an overhang of the dry stone vault. In fact it is a slate roof with the peculiarity that they clump together.
This architecture is reminiscent of the "bories" of the south of France. (village of bories). The word "cabin" is the translation of "Cobano" in local language derived from Occitan. Here, dialect was spoken until 1960.
The Breuil huts are agricultural annexes of a farm that is still active.
Random of the walk, you will meet geese who peacefully roam.

Bonjour,
Petite rectification:
-c'est "les cabanes DU Breuil"
-à Saint André D'ALLAS
-la première trace connu de ce site est 1449 mais elle était là avant
-ensuite elles ont servies d'habitat pour l' homme
