This song (actually a prayer to God) is about God in the religion of Islam. Being Christian, you might have noticed how it talks about God of Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Mary. That song is too long and boring, unless you're Muslim. If you want a spiritual song, then "Rang by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan - Coke Studio" is way more interesting for foreign ears.

This is the one of the honest reaction video, as you guys are actually understanding it. most of muslims feels the meaning than the music .. especially muslims who are into spirituality breaks down when they hear these lines .. I advice you guys to look into Qawwali, islamic literature and real Sufism (which is not a few drunk people dancing around )
