Yes and no. I like the romance of the FL/ML a lot compared to SVSS. In SVSS, LBH liked SQQ even after he abused him all bc LBH craved affection. In this, the ML was veeerrry slow in falling in love with the FL bc he knew she was kind to him due to ulterior motives. He doesn't become kind to her overnight. He's quite an ass to her for half of the novel, but when he falls, he falls hard. It's a slow burn novel with lots of character growth for the ML.
Yes and no. The only similarities is that the FL got transported into a novel and took over the body of the villainess and has to follow the plot due to a system. However, I like the romance in this one compared to SVSS. SVSS, LBH falls for SQQ way too easily, even after SQQ (the OG) abused him. This one, the ML is completely mistrusting of the FL bc he knows she's kind to him for ulterior reasons. He's an ass to her for half of the novel, and is reluctant to the fact he's falling for her charm. Whats also nice about the FL, is that even as she completes her missions, she tries to find loopholes and is able to complete them without raising her own red flag. The ML also is an ass to her bc he wanted to test how far he can take things before she'll abandon him, but she can't bc of her mission.
In the novel, she completes her mission and lives in the novel with the ML until she's in her 40s. When she decides to go back to the real world, the ML goes with her. He finds out she's not the real Ling Yu pretty quickly, but didn't care since he didn't like her in the beginning.
