Happy Halloween!!!
I can´t believe I could be able to do 2 insane volumes and I couldn´t do it without the talented editors that took a part, for that I thank you all for your effort to make this amazing collab. I am so blown away by the impact this theme made on people I always imagine how villains turned evil and if we were looking for them in the wrong point of view. We always see the good side and not the evil one just because they don´t have their own backstory and that made me think "what if" they were actually good in the past and something or someone made them turn. What inspired me to open this project was the curiosity about Captain hook, who was he, how did he end up in Neverland and how he is so old when in Neverland you can´t age. Thank you again to all your comments and open mind to receive this possible side of their story I had so much fun reading all your thoughts! ^^ Sadly volume 3 won´t be possible since I already had difficulty to find backups for volume 2, but still you have 2 outstanding volumes to watch on repeat xP

Note: I noticed some confusion between the 2 Aladdins, the stories are different the editors just used the same character because they both saw that Aladdin fit with their younger villain.

I honestly think I have the plot:
Rasputin and the queen had feelings for each other, but the king had Rasputin arrested for it, and Rasputin vowed to exact his revenge!!! 😈😈
Something that I love about the Rasputin part is that his magic became just as twisted as he did. Something about seeing a villain's gifts turned towards evil is really interesting to see.

Even the real Rasputin was suspected of having an affair with the wife of Nicholas II. Imagine if the animated one was actually the real father of Anastasia and neither of them ever knew it! But the best story is the one of Shan Yu. All the others, no matter what sad things happened to them when they were young, it was their choice doing the bad things that they did. The Mulan's villain instead was possessed by the Horned King (The Black Cauldron) ghost since he was a lad, he actually is a victim!
So that’s where Rasputin’s beef with Czar came from.
... Well, there IS a myth that Rasputin was actually the Tsarina's lover. Historically speaking, we have not much evidence to back it up, seeing that the Tsar loved his wife very much and she clearly felt the same.
Still, a pretty amazing edit!

Actually, in the description of the original part, I believe the man is actually her first husband and the stepsisters’ father. The girl he had with him was his mistress that he brought along, which I think made her feel disgraced and humiliated. That was the turning point in making her the evil stepmother. Then of course, that’s all gone when the Cinderella plot happens.

An adaptational sympathy version of Shan Yu is literally the last thing i would ever imagine about a fanfic. Kudos for the creativity though. BTW, if the person who made this video is seeing that, i'm thinking for bringing your versions of Shan Yu and Jafar to one of the fandom wikis. Do i have your permission? If i do, i'll give you your due credit.
I love the part of Odette being a young lady tremiene she plays the part really well
Young lady Tremiene-Odette and young Ursula-Ariel for me are even cuter (only as young!) than real Odette and Ariel. The Dark Side (in fiction) is always more interesting.
Helga and Shan Yu would probably be my faves. The Shan Yu part was genius, and I love how Helga's backstory stems from her parents fighting. Sure, killing her dad was a bit extra, but hey, she grew up to be a villain

She is, and in this she's the little girl who shot her dad(Gaston) to protect her mother (Cinderella)....at least from what I see)
Also, again at the Rasputin part: the tiny picture frame with baby Anastasia and her three sisters was a nice touch.
I just realized Narissa is how Regina would probably have looked if Once had been animated instead of Live action.

Is it just me or the part that Rasputin walked to the window was sooooooo SMOOTH..! I mean seriously, all of these are so cool to watch with every part of them but that part was really nice!
In my opinion, Aladdin (Facilfer) went back in time to help Aladdin be a different person (Frollo)

That makes a lot of sense. I was so confused by that. I didn't have a problem with them being the same person because these clips are edited by different people, but I was confused by the fact that it seemed like the stories tied into each other and I couldn't figure out how.
But what’s tragic is that all his efforts were in vain since in both timelines he becomes evil and dies
While watching I though this: when Frollo died, the spell Facilier set on Al was almost broken, and Aladdin turned back to his real form , but he couldn’t escape because the doctor owned his soul. So the boy takes a walk into his master’s emporium and finds out the talisman, and with all the events that happened , he entirely became one of the voodoo round

It's interesting to see how Frollo came to hate witchcraft because the deal he made to be with Esmeralda totally backfired on him and ruined him, essentially.
I feel bad for Shan Yu, as he's clearly being controlled by an evil entity - although that does explain his eyes. Seriously, I always questioned why his eyes looked like that in the movie (other than "Well it makes him look EEEEEVIL").
The editing on Facilier's part was awesome, and the backstory makes a lot of sense! Poor Mama Odie, she was too late to help him...
And Rasputin's backstory is amusing since it is historically known that the real Rasputin was VERY close to the czar's wife, heh.
However, I was a bit confused with Maleficent's backstory. Is the brown-haired girl supposed to be like her daughter or aprentice, who was killed when the guards broke in?

Yes I’d like Madame Medusa or Madame Mim
An idea for Madame Medusa is that she was from an upper class family that lost their money and she was used to getting spoiled she didn’t know how else to act so got obsessed with getting back her family fortune. You could use a young Lottie from the princess and the frog for her before they lost the money unfortunately i’ not sure why can use for her when she’s a teen to young adult when her family lost their fortune.
For Mim you could have it that her and Merlin were either siblings or students of the same person and she got jealous of the that everyone was paying more attention to Merlin than her. Maybe have Alice or the princess from black caldron (I’m really sorry can’t spell her name) play a younger her. And maybe for a few laughs have Arthur play a younger Merlin.
I can see the Odette/Lady Tremaine part tbh. For some people, if you've been out-casted by others, and betrayed, etc etc. Which simply led her down a dark path to treat others the same, since from the looks of that part, it was like she's never really had much trust, or love for another. CONSIDERING the fact she wasn't loved herself. Which made her become self-centered. And that could be why she raised her daughters the way she did?
But then again that could've lead her to the realization of maybe it wasn't worth it? also taking in consideration how that part ended >.>

Hans (played by Taran) had a rough childhood. He was the youngest in a family of 13 sons, so his chances of taking the throne were nearly impossible. On top of that, 3 of his brothers (played by Adam, Thomas, and Tony) pulled a prank on little Hans, joking that the boy was invisible. Not only did the brothers take their shenanigans very seriously, but went so far as to keep it up for 2 years. Next thing Hans knew, he was 23 and "engaged". But obviously this was just a rouse. See, his fiancée was one princess Anna, so obviously he wanted to use that as a shortcut to the throne by killing queen Elsa.

Damn, I came in this with complete skepticism, but this was actually a super interesting MEP. A unique take on everyone's start, followed with great visual flow and editing.
A lot of these are edited so well, my personal favorite is Aladdin as Doctor facilier.
I love the second one just as much as the first!!!

Idea for a Alastor MEP, we see Alastor (Milo) in New Orleans and he sings a deal with a Voodoo man (Dr. Facilier) to become powerful, he later helps the weak by killing a deer hunter (Gaston) and stops him from killing a deer (Bambi) and after that he gets killed by another Deer Hunter ( The guy who killed Bambi’s Mom) who mistakes him for a deer and he goes to Hell as the Radio Demon

I hate to be that kind of person, but the Frollo one literally makes no sense.
The whole point of Frollo is that he hates witchcraft and will kill everyone who he thinks is involved with such. He sees Esmeralda as a witch who is cursing him into lust and that she should go to hell for it.
This backstory is indeed interesting, but ultimately falls flat since it contradicts Frollo’s character.

As the person who edited that part, I was trying to show him losing his soul and being twisted by religion and paranoia into the witchcraft-hating jerk we all know him as :)

The part Aladdin/Frollo is really interesting as Aladdin x Esmeralda is one of the most seen ships on TH-cam, and Jafar and Frollo are pretty the same about how they chase girls, and so Al. Pretty good job 👏🏻❤️
P.S. Just read in the description that Aladdin is also Dr. Facilier (I thought it was a part 2 of the Frollo one, that after the failure with Esme Al joined the Facilier’s round as he sold his soul to him). What can I say, I recently was gettin started to think that Al would get along with him 😆😆

Great! I remember Rasputin and i had intuition that Denahi will be Shan Yu because they have the same eyes. But i dont understand his story. His family was killed? Al as Frollo? Then Jaffar? And all this because of love.
I don't know if you've already seen a comment i once wrote here, but your villain backstory MEP videos are great. Jafar's backstory (from Vol.1) is scary, Rothbart's backstory (from Vol.1) is a good correction for Charlie Walker from "Scream 4", Shan Yu's backstory (from Vol.2) is almost heartbreaking and the others were interesting too. I'm thinking about putting the AU versions of Jafar, Shan Yu and maybe some others in one of fandom wikis. Do i have your permission? Sorry if i already asked that.
