Man, You did a fantastic job, I cannot believe this kind of people like You still exist. Ten years of work mean a lot. Congratulation, respect!!! PS. Greetings from Romania!
Greetings from Australia. This brings back memories - my first car was a 170SD. I did not fully appreciate it at such a young age - used it like a Land Rover in the bush. Broke a rod at the back of the gearbox, lost reverse and had to crash forward gears on a 500km trip back to Melbourne. Cheers George
This so much reminds me of the 1960 Mercedes 190 I restored. I had forgotten how much work you had to afford was. But the finished product is in both cases stunning.
Great job guys! We had a 1952 300 Adenauer. We brought it back from Germany in the early 1960s. I worked on it a good bit with I was a kid, but unfortunately, it was lost in a shop fire. There are many similarities between your 170 and our 300. This video brought back many good memories. :)
From the initial photo's of a 170S with monochrome black and blue/gray interior you've almost created a 220S of the same period. Fantastic color scheme and work. Narragansett Bay
Enjoyed very much. Don't know if you noticed, but there was at least one ghost (a globe) about 45 to 50 minutes into your video. Although I enjoyed the very hard work you put into this Mercedes restoration, I wish there could have been some voice-over. And I would have loved to hear the engine at the end.

I congratulate you on your work. I'm in the middle of a restoration of the same vehicle. And I would like to know if you have electrical system plans?
