@@jen7575 that’s why i said it’s not just totally a remix, if it’s just a remix they would’ve sticked with the chorus and just add drops or beats but they fully revisioned the chorus on their own, yet the meaning of the song was still there. It’s more like a version of Inception featuring iKON.

The best thing they did about rebirthing Inception is they didn't take away the whole identity of the song unlike other groups who just used 1/4 part from the original song and they call it "reborn".
iKON sing more than others, and I love it. I mean I love that they still focus more on the song not the stage decoration

I think out of all the participants of kingdom iKON are more independent meaning they do all from choreography, to concept, to making rap line, etc. Making them to take longer practice and harder for them but I think it is a very good impression for a group to be independent and not dependent on companies idea.. Well I watched some of participants in kingdom where they already have dance instructors. Makes me feel proud of them in having a brilliant ideas. Well it's just my thought. I'm sorry if it's sound offended to other group. It's just base on my observation to them.
This is what I think too. For sure they get help from YG staffs but it is practically iKON’s ideas and they just help them on making it into reality. I think some of the groups are also independently working on their performance but definitely not all of the group some of them have staffs to depend on creating their concepts. You can see with iKON that they are comfortable in bringing in their ideas to the table bec they know that they do not have to rely on their staffs to create the concept or idea for them.
they have choreographer, 1 guy and 1 girl. i forgot their IG name but they posted last time, and thank iKON for working them.
but all in all they also put iKON's idea in every performance/choreography. they dont rely much on creative director/team to create a concept for them. they do or make it themselves and that what makes them special. 😊

I've noticed that as well. From the start (pre-debut), they created their own songs and choreography. This is the reason why we iKONIC love them so much.

you cannot say nevermind about ranking just like it not important for iKON easily. just look at iKON expression when they ranked last place at first round. jinhwan almost crying and junhoe cannot hide his expression at all. song, bobby, chanwoo and donghyuk try so hard not to be sad. they joined kingdom, so of course they will aim to be on top and winner.
@@noname-ds2rr yes to be #1 in ranking would have been nice.. but what am i saying is it is not what matters most. In any competition it would be nice to be the winner but you can't please everybody. For me and I'm sure the rest of the iKonics think that the performance of iKon is worth it to be #1 but the judges/experts and participants think otherwise. And Mnet was also not clear with their judges criteria for judging.
In my observation, the way iKon for example presented this Re-born theme is more on changing the song on their own style and literally interpreting the theme inception. While the other groups didn't really focused much on the songs but more on theaterical kinda way of presenting, with a story to work with..
