The guy on the kit is a part of the Blue Man Group. He's just one of the musicians playing regular instruments, along with a bassist, etc. The reason you don't think of him when you think of the blue men is because he's normally wearing a black suit and covered in UV paint. Having the house lights on for most of it was what killed the magic.
i think with the guy on the actual drumset, i think they kind of had to have him backing bmg. with out him i dont think the other drums and stuff would translate well over a video which is how majority of people are watching this

I'd rather see an honest reaction than fake, I thought it was clever in parts, but overall a bit bizarre....
I just dont think the blue man group translates properly over video. The experience if seeing it live was amazing
