I closed in the F to make it a P. It’s now a P-150. Poor man’s Ford Powerboist! Stay with the gen 2. They are the best gens in my opinion.

The 2010-14 generation has a PWR button for locking the both the Hybrid and Engine on- the max amount the battery can give you Doesn't help the "you're driving a prius" factor, but it launches well enough that the wife will yell at you...in my experience...

@@300zxdriver nope, there is no starter in a Prius, the high voltage battery starts the engine using MG1. The small auxiliary 12 volt battery is just for the bunch of computers, lights, radio, and other accessories.

The battery in the older Prius doesn't weigh anything 50 60 lb maybe. I stripped for those down when I worked at a junkyard took the batteries out by hand.
Pull out 70% of the Battery and have the Motor rewound for high speed, and then remap or change the power delivery via the speed controller .... you will NEVER look back. High Voltage Capacitors are next.
