I am in this situation, but I refuse to do that since the PC I use at work is shared. As such I have 1Password on my phone so I have access to everything I need either by simply typing the password into the PC or just sending it via another medium, if you need to share it. Or you could just log into the browser site as it also has your vaults there (again, I do not like doing this due to the monitoring software that might be installed on a company PC. but it is an option nonetheless)
Quick Access can be accessed by pressing ctrl+shift+space. There you type in the search bar and navigate to which password entry you want to use (either with mouse, arrowkeys+enter, or shortcuts which are displayed on screen)
Great video ! Once you import Google password manager info into 1password, do you just keep Google pass mngr or do you delete the program ? I also have Avira Password manager. Should I get rid of that ? Does having more than one create an issue ?
It's an unnecessary risk to keep all your passwords in multiple managers. Once you have imported everything into ANY trusted password manager (1Password, Proton, Bitwarden, etc.), you should probably delete all other ones, most importantly your browsers.
If you happen to forget your master password, there are a couple of options available. Firstly, you should refer to their support article at support.1password.com/forgot-account-password/. If that doesn't resolve the issue, you can either contact their support directly via support@1password.com or reset your account by following this link: support.1password.com/cs/starting-over/
Your presentation was fantastic Josh, really clear and informative! I had another question that came to mind. Is it possible to store confidential Google Sheets and Docs securely within a 1Password vault?
Does anyone know if there are any password managers out there that feature the the absolute basic most functionality of showing creation date and modification date attributes directly on the card for all device? Like, why are there all these password managers out there with the gall to lock you into a crippling dependency with a subscription model, but lack bedrock management features showing when a password string was entered or modified? In many cases, I don't want my password manager even associating the password with the purpose. I just want to look it up by the most recent notification.
Plenty: KeePass, SafeInCloud2, Enpass, Roboform. My number one would be SafeInCloud as it is open source, cloud or local backup and sync at your choice but because has no Linux support I'll stick with Keepass: open source, free. One password is a joke really and not a cheap one

Clear and comprehensive video. Thanks!
But, what happens when I go to work and have to use a computer that is not mine? Can I sign into 1Password so that I can access my accounts?

Clear ans comprehensive video . thanks
I am kind of clueless. I don't understand how to use 1Password Quick Access and can't seem to find a video that describes it. Any help here?

Still don't understand how to sync laptop and cell so that if you change a password in one it also shows up in the other.
I would like to understand that too if you can comment please
Thanks! Great video! Would love to see fewer distracting transition effects though.
Hey! Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. 🙌

@@cybernews Thanks, how fast is their support response time?

Thanks! You could store the links to those Sheets, however not the files themselves.

Bitwarden. everytime you changed a password of an account the old one gets recorded.
You meant *csv file, not CVS - that's a store lol
Thank you for the notice! Yes, you are right, CSV file is needed.

Well, well, well, this is not a review, but an ad. So this is why I can't take your word for it. (get a job, mate!)
Do you have any recommendation ?

Uh, no, now I DON'T "know how to use 1Password"! That was more of an extended review than an actual "tutorial" so a bit misleading ...
Thank you for your feedback. We'll work on creating a detailed tutorial in the future!
@@cybernews Thank you. Classy reply ;-)
