Nice dude! Looks just like my 06 STi. Same color and everything. Welcome to the world of STi. My advise would be find a mechanic who specialize in Subaru and have them do a full look around. Just to be safe. I learned this the hard way. :)
Hey man thanks for the advice! Before purchasing the car, the guy I bought it from actually took it to a professional shop and had them do a fresh oil change along with a full inspection. Told me everything is looking great!
Bought my stock 2012 STi hatchback with 69,000 miles on it's original everything. I looked 2 years for a clean one and I found it. It was garaged it's whole life. He wanted $24,000 for it, I worked it down to $20,000 when I popped the check out. He delivered it to me on a trailer. To this day, I've got it up to 125,000 miles and she still runs strong. I've done a bunch of reliability mods like bigger intercooler, radiator with hoses, upgraded lighting, short shifter with bushings, and K&N air filter. She purrs and I love it.
Very nice! Mines a little more unicorn than yours. I have a bone stock ‘06 too; Well except for the original JDM lip I installed. Bought it in ‘05 right as they came out. Love mine and will never get rid of it. It’s amazing how fast they disappeared. You never see them anymore especially 100% stock. Enjoy!

I’m assuming you still live in the same apartment complex where your bug eye was stolen. You need to garage or get a kill switch alarm for that 06. Sweet ride. Looking forward to the build content on this one 👍
Thanks man! After the bugeye got stolen I did actually get a garage for it which is great, I’m away at college right now so content will slow down sadly but once I get back to the car in the winter the content will be back!

Literally half a day from top of the country down to The Isle Of Wight off the bottom of england and that's with traffic during the day. Are there any good shops for Impreza parts in the US? In Europe parts for our 2007 Hawkeye are becoming so hard to find. Shipping to the UK would be a bonus. I do like the colour of your scoob, the all black is ok yet I've seen a few very similar. Not one your cars colour (UK spelling there 😁)

Decent looking car, If you don't like the clutch I would change it out for an ACT clutch, the are basically like OEM clutches, also I would look into a tomei it can be loud but it's a good one or an HKS silent exhaust. Have the plugs wires and timing service, along with head gaskets been done on it?
Definitely have some good plans for the car that are gonna make it lots of fun! Gaskets have not been done but so far no leaking which is great. Lots of maintenance was done by the previous owner right before I drove it home which was very nice of him. Lots of the maintenance should be updated
Very smart buy!!!! People need to be buying these now before the prices really take off over the next year, otherwise they will have gone up 30% in price. Also great that it has a newer clutch...anyone in the market for a GD should be upgrading the clutch at this point the originals will be wearing out. Timing belt should also be replaced...other tyan that itvwill be juat normal regular maintanence...ive had my 06 since 2009, absolutely the best built most reliable car ive owned, never broke down on me.

I suggest you get an aftermarket pitch stop, kartboy shifter bushing kit along with the torque solution solid shifter linkage U-Joint, definitely made going through the gears pleasant and like a brand new car.
That's not a rare car bro, looks in poor condition with the clocks/interior and rear arches. We have stacks over here in the UK. The type RA-R / s204 are a rare car. Hope you enjoy it either way. Can you turn music up abit more 😂👌
I love it. Sti’s in the states are all beat up and are poorly taken care of. Although there are a few things missing on the car, the motor is extremely well taken care of with 0 mods done on it. Would love if those versions of sti’s were here!

Stick with Exedy, they actually make the OEM clutches for many Japanese companies..
