The fire gun, is called a butane torch. It heats the paint, and so bursts any trapped air bubbles. A heat gun, which is electric, is not so dangerous, as it only has heat, no naked flame, and does the same job.
Love it. Is your paint really thin for this technique? I've tried this a few times and scraped all but one. Now that i see you do this I think my paint was too thick.
Thank you! Yes the paint is thinner for this technique. I mixed the paint like i normally would for a straight pour 1 part paint to 3 parts floetrol and then thinned with water.
