Do you ever feel like you’re waiting for your life to start?
I’ve been feeling a bit stuck myself lately.
I have sooo many ideas of things I want to do and yet it seems like I’m always waiting for the perfect moment when everything will be organized and I can finally focus on my projects but...somehow that moment never comes. 🤔🙃😏🥲
It’s so much easier in books and movies when a character is just thrust into some exciting overwhelming challenge and has no choice but to overcome it, yet in “normal” life most of the time you have to force yourself into something and that’s a lot harder to stay committed to.
I know in my head that the best way to start any project or change is with small manageable goals instead of vague lofty ideas and yet...it’s so much easier to sit and daydream about something rather than actually doing it. 🙃🤪😅
But that’s part of why I love this song and shows like Tangled and Miraculous because it gets you excited about trying and learning new things and reminds you that you are capable of much more than you may realize. 🐞💫
My biggest problem is probably picking one thing to focus on, because my solution is basically Marinette’s from Wishmaker (I’ll just do everything!!! 😍🤩🥳🤪😉😂) but another thing I’ve been thinking about is how instead of putting pressure on yourself and trying to rush through things all at once, you can pursue a goal or dream while still taking your time - that way you can make progress while still having time to enjoy and appreciate the little moments in between like feeling the wind in your hair. 💗🍃🥰
Buuut it’s good to have realistic goals too and actually stick to them so that’s what I’m going to work on. 😉💫
