I believe that the Carpoon Hyperpod is controlled by a bright orange button on the top pf the hyperpod. The button is then pushed by a massive hand. However, there are no massive hands in Acceleracers, so the Carpoon Hyperpod is completely useless. That's why it is never used in any of the movies.
You're actually wrong because remember, the Dragster Hyperpod doesn't have anything blocking the front of the vehicle in the movies as Vert can clearly back up into the front of the DHP and especially the Climber Hyperpod automatically unravels the top of itself so cars such as Taro's Rivited can get into place before the top part rests on top of the vehicle. This means it would still work in the movies cause like I said, clearly the Hyperpods automatically close and remove the sealing components for the vehicles to get in & out or in the Catapiller HP's case as seen in Ignition, move its head forward then slide and drop mechanically on the ground. Also just like a majority of Acceleron creations seen in the movies including the Metro Realm cars and AcceleChargers, the Hyperpod would trigger the harpoon itself when the user gets close to his/her target or something.
Missed opportunity to use it in the Cosmic Realm

The whole rant with the slam ram made me think too. In the first movie the drones have literal planes that they could just fly to the portal
I think the realms are being watched and by doing that it would be considered cheating maybe they have some form of built-in checkpoints system or something like that
The Drone Sweepers might be a good one to look at in the future. Their a lot like German WW2 Wunderwaffen: extreme psychological impact initially, but are quickly dealt with or even turned against their creators (ergo Old Smokies Finest Hour and Grand Theft Sweeper)

I assume the Carpoon is an automated thing with a button on the dashboard controlling the firing function.
The ending portal probably requires a certain speed in order to go through, perhaps that ram has enough speed lol.
There's that new Fast and Furious Netflix show releasing after Christmas. I dunno how harsh the copyright will be (probably very harsh), but that could be something to analyze that'll increase the growth of your channel.

A little off topic from the video, but I noticed that Kadeem is the only human who uses a sequential transmission (like F1 cars). Weird to think that a guy like Tezla would use H patterns on his super modern cars despite it being slower and more prone to driver error.

It could be that the cockpit has minimal space that a shifter is impractical. I know the argument could be made for Battle Spec (and potentially other single seater vehicles) but I guess there was enough space for a short shifter.
Also, there's no excuse for why his built cars in World Race couldn't have a sequential, but in Acceleracers, all the cars are built for the street and what not, and most street vehicles/racecars don't have sequentials.

The street racers might want to keep it that way instead of having to learn a new technique, but I think at least the ones who were at the world race would prefer the sequential. Specially Kurt and Taro who IIRC were professional race drivers in the past and nearly all modern race cars have paddle shifters.
Now I never understood this but why does a Kadeem's car that has a Sequential Transmission have a clutch pedal?
@@user-fp6ng9ec8u Probably to start moving and prevent the engine from stalling when the cars comes to a stop. F1 cars have a clutch for that, it's just that instead of a pedal it is a lever behind the steering wheel.
I always thought the slam ram had little wheels on the sides so it can pass turns but.......yeaa....

Harpoon could have a computer system you could reach out from the window of your car to control like a button to fire? Haven’t heard of the harpoon one before
It always bothered me the dragster pod had metal on the outside of its wheels. How the hell is it supposed to get traction? I mean, I guess if it's heavy enough the back wheels can still get traction, but why not just make them rubber or - literally ANYTHING except metal! There's no way those back wheels are getting enough traction on such a smooth track.
Also my guess on how the Carpoon (ugh) hyper pod would work is that once the car is inside, it simply changes one of the buttons on the dash into the harpoon button. Or adds a new button (like on a touch screen or somethin, like a hologram maybe? It's Acceleron technology, it's probably advanced enough).
The dragster hyperpod simultaneously is my favorite but makes me the most angry because of that😂 oooh and yesh it could be a hologram, didnt think of that

I think the Carpoon pod is just a reference to the grappling hooks some of the cars have. Just that.
@@spoilerz9795 I feel like with the dragster, it's because of the sheer speed it reaches. 514MPH. Rubber just simply cannot handle that. 300, yeah. That can be done. I mean we have hit that in real life. But 514 is too much for any rubber compound to survive. Hence the metal. I also assume that, since it has the engine in the back, it provides enough gravitational force in that area to where it digs the wheels into the track enough to gain traction.
My theory is that the slamram is actually hollow and everything you see is stored on a fuel tank style thing (which the drones dont need because their cars are hydrogen powered, therefore only needing a scuba tanks style high pressure container), as the drone pushes the lever, it opens up a latch that releases all of the material (maybe "nanobots" since it needs to know where to go) which then forms into the multiple structures that make up the vehicle, whilst this is happening the car itself is being kept hovering with some jets temporarily made of that material

@@spoilerz9795 There's a card in the Acceleracers Collectible Card Game that depicts a device that visually resembles a Hyperpod that allows a single Vehicle card to advance to the next Realm at the beginning of its next turn. That's probably what you saw.

Alright. i thought of some ways most pods could work, mechanically speaking.
-Driller: just as described, you could just add another set of gears attached to the dyno to power the heads, could be a different ratio, since you need speed rather than torque there.
-Dragster: As you said, it has an engine, could work as an auxiliary engine. using the dyno to sense the speed of the wheels on the car, then using its engine to magnify it to achieve higher speed. The wheels on it could be magnetic, that could get you crazy traction on a metal surface i think. Not sure about the las thing though
- Centipede: it could be either electric, or use a flexible drive shaft in between the sections. There are couplings designed to work as an elbow for shafts, which can bend to either way, as long as it isn´t a 90 degree angle. like this: th-cam.com/video/gmV4qwLfOMY/w-d-xo.html
- Climber: This is pretty simple. Have some gearing that transmits the power from the dyno to the front axle and thus, you can climb. It has that huge body on the front for a reason, there is bound to be something in there for it to work. Looking a the model, it could be posible.
- Carpoon: Now for the most interesting one. As it doesnt have steering, you could change elvation by turning the front wheels. Right = Higher, Left = Lower. Then for the firing mechanism. You could use the power wheels to charge a hydraulic cilinder to fire the harpoon, and then use them to reel it in, just like you would with a fishing rod.
Slam Ram: could be another drone car and maybe a combination between the 2, but not sure. as to the ram itself, it could use either magnetic guides to stay on track or some sort of guiding software like aircraft misiles. Maybe that is what they use that visor thing for?. Im really at a loss for this one.

@@spoilerz9795 i feel like since the drones took over and changed hot wheels city into they're headquarters they also must have found the original slam ram hyperpods and dismantled and reverse engineer then to act as they do in the movies. considering the fact that the accelarons made all the hyper pods.

But for the carpoon, I do believe it's a reference to the grappling hooks on some of the cars. Particularly in Ignition when Wyld's car falls off the side of the cliff, he fires his hook and the hooks looks EXACTLY like the carpoon's hook.

As far as the Carpoon Pod goes I never considered it canon since it never appeared in any AR media aside from the card game (also non canon) and plenty of the cars in the show already have har-ugh..-carpoons as it is so it's a Hyperpod that's honestly really useless within the universe of the show.

I don't really think energy is something you'd have to worry about since the accelerons have infinite energy (wheel of power) and the controls might not even matter, the hyper pods could be on a set path since the accelerons also created self driving cars (metro realm)
I think the important thing about winning accelechargers is that it has to be someone (or something) that came into the realm through the wheel of power. The reason I say that is because the winner only gets the accelecharger after going back through the portal and returning to their world. And since the wheel usually sends people back through the portal they entered from, things that were already in the realm probably don't get sent anywhere, and don't get an accelecharger. So if a fly actually enters the racing realm and makes it to the portal on the other side in under an hour, it deserves an accelecharger if you ask me.
I believe that a driver can only win the Accelerchager. Nice video by the way.
In the world of acceleracers where vert managed to not only avoid blacking out from going 514mph, but also move his arm freely enough to turn on music. Its probably the same button that the actual car uses for its grapples.

@@spoilerz9795 I also had a similar idea for an AU fanfic idea that involved some of the swamp realm creatures finding their way into the real world by just jumping into the portal and the Driver's had to take all the Hyperpods out of the realm to fight the creatures.

for the caterpillar hyperpod checkout the Arktos which kinda work as you said the problem being how the car gets on in the first place
The harpoon probably was just a marketing hyperpod, as it isn't seen in the normal movies. The only time you see the harpoon is coming from the vehicles themselves, like Wild at the beginning of Ignition. This means its a normal thing in the "real world" and is "common".
I had the crawler, dragster, ram, and driller toys back in the day! I have no idea what happend to them, those things were cool!

I remember when my dad bought me a bunch of the first wave of Acceleracer cars and the Swamp track, I would race them a lot on it. They'd smash into one another, scratching and scraping all the chrome and decals they had.
Oh how I regretted it so much I had to replace them all lol!
I am making a theory on the Accelerons and one thing I've thought was the Hyperpod and all technology are powered by Photonics and RD-09 v2 is controlled by a Photonic Optical CPU and unlike the standard Drone power sources, this runs on Hyper-burst Fusion Cells instead of Hydrogen Turbines but what the power source of it could be might just be from the environment or something.

as the carpoon hyperpod, i eather see burnout tech being used or only specific cars with an open stearing wheel would be able to trigger it, this would limit its usfullness slightly but it never actully got shown in the movies so i honestly didnt even know it existed
Maybe the harpoon hyperpod behaves like a ballista... the torque of the car causes tension on something like a spring contraption. Like those toy cars you pull back on and once released, they move forward. But to launch it, they simply break the tension by reaching the end of the spring catch. Like when you pull said toy so far it makes those clicks.
So I think that the hyperpods are powered by the wheel of power, so power isn't a concern.
I know this might contradict everything you said but I always believed that they did use rollers but only to really tell the hyper pod when to move but the actual directions were automatic, because all except for two have only one real use in one particular realm, so it could just be that it’s programmed to go to a certain location, that would also explain the fact that they can stop in the hyper pods but they can’t get out unless they have gotten past the obstacle
The Drone Slam Ram Hyperpod is created by an Accelacharger. It is a temporary conversion of energy to matter, and is assumed to be tailor made for each car.
Presumably, if a Teku car used that Accelacharger, it would have a different design.
As for the climber, that's relatively easy. Have you ever looked at the setup for a 4-wheel drive vehicle, where the front wheels are typically only engaged for short periods of time, when the driver needs 4WD?
Drop the rear driveshaft, keep the front one, and there's your drivetrain.
The carpoon is dumb, and there's a reason that it never made it to the screen.
When is it shown that an Accelecharger generates the Slam Ram? RD-L1 triggers it by pushing/pulling a lever.

perhaps the carpoon hyperpod has a wheel driven compressor that compresses air into a storage vessel, then when the carpoon is fired, it's launched much like an aircraft catapult on an aircraft carrier.
For the slam ram it requires a car to turn on when car is put in place and accelerates it boost the car foward
Now idk how the ramp would be blasted due to the fact that it can work with other acceleracers cars but must be some transmission causing the ramp to be blasted in all some mechanisms causes the the ramp to be blasted
for the carpoon, what if there was some type of device monitored that would trigger if the car's headlights activated their high beams via heat, luminosity, or whatever would have the least interference. I cant think of any system for aiming that would work with both humans and robots
Carpoon is simple, you have to honk the horn and it detects the sound of the horn and then fires!

The hyper pods looks like the same size as the cars in the: Redline anime movie.
There is one normal car wich is the main character. He doesn`t have room for weapons so he used all for speed hehe.
I remember they had a “hyperpod” toy that was for the grapple marky had to use when he drove off the cliff also did anyone else get the climbing hyperpod toy and was it offset on the wheels or lined up like in the movie mine was offset
With respect to whether a fly or other random object could win an AcceleCharger, I suspect the Accélérons would have made it such that something has to have come through the entrance portal to win the AC when leaving the exit portal. So unless you have a 300 mph fly it’s not going to win. That doesn’t really resolve whether the ram thing can though.
Fair enough, q certain speed may be required. But I remembered nolo going through the swamp portal roughly around 200mph tops so its hard to figure out what it is
Spoilerz That’s true, I don’t think the exit portal has the same speed requirement. But the Wheel of Power portal definitely does, so if we say a winner must have come through the entrance portal then exited the only way a winner could be a fly is if it gets to 300 mph to enter the Wheel.

So, really late comment on here but I just found your videos, but I always thought the Drone Hyperpod was more of a result from the Accelechargers. For example, the first time we see it, the first couple of times actually, we see it appear after the drone inserts an Accelecharger into his vehicle. So I always chalked it up to car superpower. That being said, it also appears without the use of an accelecharger, so who really knows. All we know if that it was made by the Accelerons who created the racing drones who have a knack for creating mass out of thin air (looking at you final form Gelorum) so it could just be "advanced technology" beyond our comprehension. In addition to this though, I dont think the Drone Hyperpod is sentient or a drone itself. I'm pretty sure its controlled by the drone in the small car still and just becomes an extention of his own vehicle. I say this because we have seen it fly off of the track previously during the Cave Realm when the drone focuses too hard on trying to hit Wylde in Spinebuster. It goes off track and we get to see the drone inside the small car transform and scream because it seems to have made an error and it recognizes that. Just my thoughts tho
It's not, the AcceleChargers only bestow supernatural abilities to vehicles based on the Realm and to avoid skills. The AcceleChargers have nothing to do with the Hyperpods, the Card Game specifically has the Fog AcceleCharger letting you see clearer in fog.
@@artistanthony1007 True yeah. I guess the Drone Hyperpod is just that. Though not sure how it works exactly as we see that RD-05 is the only one to use it, and it comes as an extention from his own vehicle.

and about the "fly go trough portal thing" is only if the thing is a pilot?
My idea is that the carpoon hyperpod is sound activated, so to fire it you just honk the horn.
The slamram wouldn't win the accelacharger because it doesn't have consciousness while the drones do. at least that's how I see it.

@@spoilerz9795 Most likely if a fly went through the portal and it was an inhabitant of the realm, like the flies in the swamp realm, it would just die upon entry, as it has no place to exit. Since the wheel of power need to spit you out the same place you came in by looking at your car, it would have no place to go, never get outside the portal, and never receive the accelecharger.

@@KilosFoxo So I thought about this for a couple days and here is the summary of my theory. It’s important to note that, given the average speed that the cars are driving in these races a common housefly would never make it to the end of the track in one hour. But let's say that it did, or let's say that Dr. Tesla built the ability for there cars to sprout wings and fly to the end of the track. Most likely what would happen is that their car would more easily be taken out and they would be killed, for example, the lightning in the storm realm, the monster in the swamp realm, sea creatures in the water real, and meteors in the cosmic realm. The accelerons are basically gods that created different dimensions to test us in racing, so I would assume that they build in precautionary measures against “cheating” or their definition of it, and skipping the track completely. This would explain why we see the swamp fly take out the cameras in the swamp realm.

Aaactually the accelerons made it so only the humans and drones can win the accelecharges, the reasons maybe:
1 they enter the portal and the realm takes it that only the people/drones who entered can get the accelecharger
2. Because of tge humans and drones are driving a car, maybe the engines have something to do with
3. The accelerons simply made the drones for the humans to compete against(but thanks to Gelorum )they turned evil, sooooooo idk

i believe that in order for you ro win an realm you must be on a car... i mean, its not easy to try to replicate machines made from literal gods
Technically the Accelerons are just more advanced species, they're ranked at Type IV on the Kardeshiev Scale which is control over the Universe but we dont have much information or details if they really are from a seperate dimension and HW35 & Racing Realms or they're in the same universe the humans are and HW35 & Racing Realms are too, just in different planets like Metro being in a massive Gas Giant.

You’re digging too deep into this, it’s simple. Acelerón technology, they are a species of beings that focuses on cars. Human cars. Hyperpods simply just takes the control inputs from the car and translates it into controlling the hyperpod. (SpongeBob rainbow with “magic” text)
