I honestly love Gigi and Dani so much. They seem to have natural chemistry and they balance each other well. Dani is usually closed off but she is surprisingly opening up with Gigi and Gigi seems to be comfortable with Dani. I do hope they have a slowburn storyline because I don't want a disaster to happen. I agree that Finley needs to find someone else than Sophie because I don't want her to get hurt.
I didn’t realize they didn’t add subtitles for the Farsi parts! In this scene, Gigi jokingly says “do you not have legit tea?” Persians are well known for drinking a LOT of tea…we don’t play with shitty tea ☕️
I am loving Gigi and Dani. I like how there is a friendship building. Gigi is clearly the first person Dani calls now when she needs someone. She went to Bette i think in the first episode, but not since meeting Gigi. It is obvious Gigi likes Dani. But I like how you can see Danni's attraction to Gigi growing. Like Gigi said, Danni is feeling her energy too. I give Bette and Gigi a couple more episodes before one of them ends it.
Yep, Gigi needs to end it with Bette. Bette is using her for sex and she doesn’t want to emotionally connect with Gigi either. Gigi tried hard working on their relationship.
In the original L word Shane fell head over heels 15 years ago for Sherry and she turned out to be a toxic psychopath who was married.. she dumped Shane and Shane was deeply heart broken .

Hopefully Dani was listening to what Gigi said. If she is looking for a long term relationship, Gigi said she gets bored quickly and moves on. That’s a red flag for me. When people tell you how they move in a relationship, believe them.
Sherry was the biggest mistake + screwed Shane + her 1 true love, Carmin's relationship + walk down the isle. Sherry is a massive manipulator + it would not surprise me is she knew before getting g involved with Tess, that Tess worked for Shane.
Alex I really think you should watch the original show because it provides a lot of context and backstory. And I think it’s important to understand how all of the OG characters have gotten to where they are now. Season 1 is definitely boring but once Jenny comes out everything really starts to pick up
Just start watching a random season of the original. Season 1 focused a lot about Jenny and Bette and Tina. But in the later seasons the rest of "the group" got more screentime and story, that made it more fun. At least for me. Skip season 3 tho, if you're not wanna cry. :')
I'd say give the original show an attempt, yeah, even if it means starting from Season 2. Certain aspects of it definitely haven't aged the best, but I do think there are some fun moments and characters in it. But if it's not for you, then no worries.

I can’t understand how everybody is thinking the intensity comes from both of them . I can’t see Dani showing any type of romantic interest in Gigi. IMO, there’s only Gigi desperately trying to create that mood …
