I was walking on air that day. Better than sex! BUT over the next couple of months i gave it all back. That was when the penny( or the £) really dropped for me of how pointless it all is.

All that’s in pubs are random games designed to make as much money as possible off people and encourage people to chase their losses and lose more! And the government doesn’t care because all they care about is the taxes they make 🤦♂️

I work in a bookies and i can say you're right, we do have faces on our screen of people that are bared in the area from OUR company. Not my shop but others do have facial recognition when you walk in now that helps. Facial recognition on the SSBTs now (Not the FOBTs for some reason) but me myself genuinely try and help people that get angry and stressed but 99% of the time they don't wanna hear it from you, they abuse you, threaten you. So now i just leave it if they wanna smash the machine i let em. End of the day if they're taking their anger out on a machine and not the staff that's a lot better for me. But i agree alot more has to be done but facial recognition in some shops is a small step forward.

Good on you paul..watched you from the start & back then the cards were a bit better. Although no huge wins, you got good wee frequent wins but they are now disgusting. Life of Paul has declared how much he has spent and how much he has got back from the channel. Around 18k. Channel got 24k back. No issues with losing. You my friend are way bigger than Paul. It sounds like you have other things like the slots etc. Find out about any issues and get them addressed. I think if you put all this effort in over the years its a waste if you leave. Clearly your TH-cam revenue will still generate but if there are no more uploads that can ptua stop on things. I think you need to look at a strategy that's different. I use maths calcuations, historical data and algo's. That's for the lottery and scratchcards. It's not the channel that's pulling at you, it's the other that you have mentioned. You'll be back once you straighten the issues out. I trade on sports betting and just keep it tight. Someone I know who is now a pundit and used to play Prem football. I watched his life. Not going to go into it too much but you can get help.

Scratch cards have never been good, but they've definitely gotten worse over the last five years. The good wins are few and far between. The best you can hope for in the vast majority of cases, even on a £5 ticket, is your money back, and what is the point of playing just to get your stake back? I hope you stick to this, Paul.

Hi paul, I've been almost a year gamble free. Best thing I ever did. I had the ultimatum of either losing my girlfriend, kids, and business or stop gambling. I choose wisely and can honestly say it's the best thing I ever did. Don't get me wrong, I miss it every day and still get the urge every time there's a big game on. Don't go back.
