    Hey, I don't know if people still watch these videos, but I can't help but come back to them. This was one of my first ASMR channels, and I loved it. I really miss his combination of education and relaxation, and his Russian Revolution video especially helped me get started on the first of my History Alevel. Anyway, I'm not sure if there is a market for these types of videos anymore, but its a direction I want to take my ASMR channel in. I already have a pretty big one on the history of the British monarchs coming out over the next few days, but my video quality is no where near the French Whisperer's level, and probably never will be. But if anyone who still watches these videos has a topic (preferably history, but also any others), that you'd like to have an ASMR video on, that the French Whisperer missed, despite his impressive array, please feel free to let me know and I'll do my best to make one for you.
    Ps. My accent is no where near as cool as this guy's, but I'm trying

    7:00 I’m just taking a guess here, from what I know about armor from each nation so don’t get too mad at me for my inaccuracies if you actually know what tribes each are from but, from left to right, my guesses are: celts closer to Rome/Italy, Spanish Celts, Hungarian/cuman celts, German celts, and British celts.

    French Whisperer, I've stumbled upon your channel recently, and fell in love with it almost overnight. It's now home to some of my absolute favorite ASMR videos. I particularly enjoyed the Samurai episode, and I would like you to to consider creating an episode regarding the history of the Ninja if you have the time to do so, that would be stellar!

    I really love your videos. They trigger ASMR every time, they're relaxing, educational, interesting, easy to understand/follow.
    They're great to watch intently or fall asleep to... which I often do.
    I've watched many of your videos many times and will continue to do so.
    Thanks and keep up the good work :)

    I love that I can watch these again and again because I always fall asleep before the end! Fantastic. Every video❤️❤️ I’ve been listening to a few before bed to chill and one as I go to sleep and it works sooo well to force me to not think and just sleep. Better than most anti anxiety meds with no side effects 👏🏾😀Fantastic, thank you for all your hard work! Love from Winnipeg❤️

    A lot of the roman architecture still remains in Wales. I live in a rather small town where there's a Norman castle/fort, celt standing stone and Roman fort within 20 minutes of each other.

Your videos have become among my favorite. I think a video on the bubonic plague of the 14th century would terrific, as well as one about ancient Rome. Thanks again for your videos!

    The Romans did come to Scotland and built a wall between what is now the central belt between Glasgow and Edinburgh, called Antonine's wall. There is almost nothing left of the wall but remains can be seen near Glasgow. They didn't conquer the Picts who were north of this wall.

    Good portrayal. In Irish we say Gaelige. You can also say Gaelic. There is also keltoi as described by Greek and Roman historians. Which is close. But no Celt. Pronounced Selt. No such word.

    FYI, Ireland at the time of the celts wasn’t part of the British isles, it wasn’t until the 1200s, the English invaded Ireland and claimed it as part of the UK, but in reality, they were just our occupiers.

    • @TheFrenchWhispererASMR
      @TheFrenchWhispererASMR  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I know some Irish nationalists disapprove of the term, but I used it only as a geographical indication, because it is still the same archipelago and I am not aware of any other name for it. Nothing political, really, I'm not taking sides on issues that are none of my business :).

    • @Ambuscade94
      @Ambuscade94 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Ireland has always been part of the British isles, it's a geographical term not a political one. The UK (England Scotland and Wales and Northern Ireland) is not an interchangeable term with the British isles, which is Great Britain (the large island comprising England Scotland and Wales) and Ireland (Northern AND Republic).
