One thought about the option of “yarn choices”. I’m guessing most of your audience is NZ or AUS, but for the rest of us we don’t have good access to the yarns you are familiar with so that may be one reason there wasn’t as much interest in that topic. Love your podcast and look forward to all you teach us on what ever topic. The section on Wayfarer was wonderful! What a wealth of information. For years I’ve knit raglan construction as that was so available, but the result was always more sweatshirt feeling on me. My body type doesn’t favor drop shoulder so I avoid those, but love set in sleeves, but not knitting in pieces. I can’t wait to make Wayfarer now. Double Time was at the top of the queue, but this is quite tempting!
This is very different cardigan knitting compared to what I’ve been knitting. I’m a new knitter & have knit 2 cardigans.can you recommend a cardigan with your modifications with tutorials?
I have a lot of video support inside my membership Wardrobe Toolbox (www.wardrobetoolbox.com). You'll find technique tutorials for patterns like Floozy/Floozy Too - they're great to get started with :)
The nitty gritty is where the fun really happens! That's what we cover (in depth!) inside Wardrobe Toolbox. It's a massive topic that, of course, varies from knitter to knitter and her shape. A good place to get started is by looking in your own wardrobe and measuring the clothes you love to get an idea of the ease you like, swatch to find fabric you love and practice a few constructions with simple patterning.
I appreciate your thorough explanation of the top-down set in sleeve. Looks so polished. Thank you.
I love how polished it is - and there are ways to create a really tailored fit :)

You could be right about yarn - there are so many options now! Happy knitting!
Thank you so much from Hungary ❤🧶❤
Happy knitting!
Thank you, this is a very clear explanation and I will have a lot of use of it!
Happy knitting!
Thank you Libby,
Happy knitting Linda :)
Can’t believe I have only just found you!! Brilliant channel I shall be tuning in regularly. How do I purchase a pdf pattern if I am in the uk?
Welcome! It's easy peasy to buy PDF patterns from me. Either my website: www.trulymyrtle.com/shop or Ravelry: www.ravelry.com/designers/libby-jonson x
Great information thanks Libby. I have to say I love drop shoulders and will never knit set in sleeves - they just do not suit me. Margaret
That's great to know Margaret! Happy knitting :)
Love the button shawl can we just do one color?
Absolutely - the texture will be lovely although it won't be so "tartan". It would be gorgeous in very close versions of the same colour.

Tried top down knitting a sweater - since in USA there are more patterns top down- not my thing- prefer knitting my sweaters from the bottom up - 🤷♀️
I have a couple of those ;) Oatmeal is one. It's a nice combo of bottom-up and the short-row set in sleeve top-down :)
Uhmm - still do not know how to do these tecniques - the nitty gritty - - - 🤨
