    This video is awesome. My in laws still have land there right on the beach and was offer to us to build. The sold the rest off to foreigners. I'll probably end up settling there one day .
    Love your vids

    Thanks again for sharing. I am looking forward to that camera review on that Getup camera. That is on the top of my list for cameras to start my expat venture. It appears much easier on the viewing of videos, compared to the GoPro videos of other's.

      I should have it up this week some time. I am pretty happy with it. The prices go up quickly to get additional features like a touch screen.

    I reckon Bohol is my favourite place thanks to people like you doing videos, I like the people which actually talk on the videos l learn more,I reckon it is better to live in the city and best to do tours like you did maybe once a day,but have they got immigration in Bohol or do you have to to Cebu to do that thanks

    • @AmazingPhilippines1
      @AmazingPhilippines1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is an immigration office in Tagbilaran City last time I was there Ean. They handle visa extensions but you may have to come to Cebu/Mandaue City for more detailed issues is my understanding.
      I like Bohol also.

    there are lots of boat in Alona Beach...and some areas are not clean...you should have gone to Dumaluan Beach...its longer wider cleaner white sandy beach in Panglao...well maintained...divided with public and private resorts..anyway...when you see it there...you will appreciate..true nature of beach...just like the new Boracay...Dumaluan..Beach..The Best in Panglao ...Bohol.

    Looks like a nice place. The beach area doesn't seem as densely built as the tourist areas on Camiguin. Also, I hope that tricycle had good padding on the seats.

    • @AmazingPhilippines1
      @AmazingPhilippines1  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was surprised much of the area wasn't more built up. Give it time.
      My driver drove rather slow which helped the comfort level.

      Did you say GITUP GIT2?

    • @AmazingPhilippines1
      @AmazingPhilippines1  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, I usually use a Gitup Get2. It is rated good for image stabilization in most reviews. I set the color to "Vivid". I still have to be careful to walk as evenly as I can. Thanks for watching. I also use a Canon sx 60 super zoom for some of my video. Thanks for watching.

    Very nice video! Can you tell if the water had good visibility for snorkeling/diving for that time of the year? I know farther out from the beach might be better.
    I wonder what months are best for clear water near the beach.

    • @AmazingPhilippines1
      @AmazingPhilippines1  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      The water looked pretty clear to me even in October. A typhoon in the area might stir the water up. Feb through June are usually the most sunny months.
      Thanks for watching and commenting.

    Thanks for the video. What do you think, is it better to take this tricycle driver or to rent a bike and travel around the Bohol by yourself ? I will be there with my local girlfriend and wanna travel more the lay at the beach, thanks :)

    • @AmazingPhilippines1
      @AmazingPhilippines1  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I plan to rent a motorbike the next time I go so I can have better control over my time and where and how long I stop. This guy did a great job for me. I tried to contact him again and never received a reply from the cell number I had for him.

    that's alona beach?! i went to the 'budget' part of panglao island - still touristy with a lot of resorts but the beach is so much cleaner and there is no makeshift vendor area near the beach.and you will not see any oxygen tanks on the beach. they are an eyesore.

    • @AmazingPhilippines1
      @AmazingPhilippines1  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, Alona Beach is a concentration of dive shops and all the gear Fernando. There is a lot more to see on the island also.

      It is the "rainy" season so less traffic I think. The driver was very open and helpful. He also took me to a cave I did not know about.
