As funny as this is, it's kinda scary with just how many people were in the background; knowing each one of them is actively scamming others.
and these call centers are EVERYWHERE

When the scammer says he can't take out a partial amount but threatens to take all the money, Kit should transfer money from the checking account to the savings account leaving the refund amount in the checking account and say there you go, take all of it.
Nonononono! I can only take all of the money from all of your accounts! I'm not allowed to take the money you owe me for...reasons.

My guess is it's the largest amount you can transfer without the suspicion of either a bank or a government group.... Not sure tho
@@aidanbrown156 Banks must report withdrawals exceeding 10K to the IRS. I think that law is more interested in you paying your taxes than protecting you from scams (it was "advertised" as being put in place to combat money laundering). My bank knows my spending habits and blocked a $400 dollar purchase and flagged me on one that was about $2.

I love how whenever theres a clear flaw in their scam that gets easily picked up on, they basically just pick something at random and say "this is the reason!" and think we'll fall for it. "You type 399, not 400. This is the reason more money was transfer!"
Like that time the scammer accuses Edna putting extras zeros into the transaction because she was moving her modem/router around.
There's basically no point in them doing anything smarter. If the target even suspects that it's a scam, there's probably someone better out there that they should be working with. You want someone who's just oblivious and compliant no matter what kind of mistake you make. 😢
It's sad because I can hear so many of the scammers talking to people over the phone trying to scam them. So very sad
The good thing is many of these callers are either other scam baiters or people who thankfully catch on before they're taken advantage of.
Is it just me or did the scammer’s annoying background noise sound like a fake looped recording?
hope so, it was really irritating me how busy they sounded because that means they're likely successful in scamming people.
I could hear distinct words and conversations from the other scammers at different times. But, it was definitely annoying.

Whenever Kit attempts to get into casual small talk “do you know anyone free at the FBI” “how did your thanksgiving go” etc it becomes clear that they don’t actually speak English outside of their script.
Also, that they don't listen to a thing anyone says. They've bern taught two or three "buying signals" ..but none of these people can read the room.

I just saw a show ( Market place) and I saw you on their. I want to thank you for your videos, my mother and my aunt's have seen your Videos now they know not to get scammed. We live in San Antonio Texas there is a scam that's going on here with the SA Housing Authority. People are looking on their websites for homes to rent and when they see one they like, they call the Number and whoever answers tell them that they can hold the house for them if they pay 50 to $100 down they have pay today to do it if they really want a them to hold house.. some of these houses are already rented or sold. My cousin is Disabled and Blind this man tried to scam her on one of the houses. I was so mad.. so thank you.

He has had little to no money on the account several times during his live streams on Twitch and because it's a quick hang up the only thing you might find is a short clip on Twitch. I do remember once the persona Dixie didn't have any money and you can hear the manager in the back ground say, " say goodbye" to the scammer he was on the phone with when he saw her balance. He saved the call by telling him Dixie had access to her ex-husband's bank account. He proceeded to help her "steal" the money from her ex. That was a few months ago. If I can find a clip of that I will post a link.

There is such a thing as hackers that work for legit companies or work for the government. They are called ethical hackers.
April 🥀Rose ethical hackers don’t work for companies they are hired by companies to “hack” that companies’ system and report on the weaknesses of the system. But yeah this guy is not the most ethical of hackers lol

Mike M I don’t think you understood my reply. Let me clarify. There are companies that provide services to other companies to hack into their system and report on weaknesses in the network infrastructure. Their goal is not to hurt that business but to advise on ways to improve the security of their networks, websites, databases, etc. So yes there are companies that employ ethical hackers to hack businesses who pay for that service
